Anyone else have Suzuka 750PP shown with STD physics, but when you select the race it say's PRO

I'm guessing GTP_hyperuk has the same thing judging by his post

After racing with cars at stock settings for so long (HSR) this will be fun to get the tunings right. I can't help feeling this will be a clio/elise/mines showdown though... not that its a bad thing.

suzuka is back. so will we have new times for meeting online. xx00, xx15, xx30, xx45 from now as its a five lap race.

750 PP? It's a rather lame class now if you ask me, where are the real word sorts car races with around 300kw or less and sports tyres?:grumpy: Now I need to figure out what cars to use, I doubt I will ever try for something fast, I've had enough of the Tuned cars and GT-Rs and F430s etc running super high power and race tyres to last me a while.

I've just realised there are no 600pp(ish) events now so, Just in case the integra fans I ran into (literally) on Fuji last night decide they absolutely must crawl round the track, may I suggest you pull over to the side of the track at the start and let the race past before you start your - bumbling round in slow motion - shenanigans.

I was tripping over you guys for the first two sectors of lap one last night and that was after I managed to recover from the (worse than usual) carnage you caused at T1. The last thing you need when screaming into a hairpin braking zone at 140mph+ is a roadblock of (to all intents and purposes) parked vehicles. I counted about 6 and every one screwed up my race worse than the punters did.

Be warned - if you are in front of me in a shopping trolley and you even look like your going to go for the racing line I will punt you the hell of the track. The alternative is I go flying off the road, braking too hard on the wrong line in a 500bhp MR flying machine and I don't see why I bloody should.

I'll agree to that.👍 When I drive something in a much slower class I pull over and let the race pass. If I'm even in a slightly slower car, I won't defend my position very much, and let them pass me.

I've seen a lot of TEAM-mixi people doing the same thing, pulling over at the start. That's fair enough but last night shocked the hell out me - I expected them to pull off the road and just floored it from 12th place at the start, hoping to make up a couple of places by T1 when, all of a sudden, I was ploughing through a scrapyard. I'm sure one of them had a GTP tag as well but I didn't catch the name.

Well I am very dissapointed to see 750PP is the slowest event, but bringing Suzuka back and adding more laps is definetly a step in the right direction 👍

Aha, ok thank you Timppaq for the list. Something says me that topic belongs in the Race Events section of the GT5P forum. Next time I'll look in the normal GT5P forum as well before posting.

Definitely.

I'm also loving being able to compete in the S2000 again - that really seems to be the best car on Suzuka.

God I LOVE that track.

Would have been nice for them to maybe boost the prize money a bit on the 5 lap races, but it's great to have a bit more track time.

Big thumbs up from me PD!

But perhaps you are forgetting that a lot of PP600 cars are now good enough for PP750 after the update?
Ive just had a couple of races with the standard SRT10 Viper and its very competitive! The 5 laps help a lot as well.

Im not really sure what cars are the best in that class right now at Suzuka, everyone seems to be trying everything and they all seem competitive. From F40s, Evo/Tuneds, Elise/Tuneds, GT-Rs, Corvettes, etc etc.
This looks to be a very fun class and Im very glad to see Suzuka back regardless that they didnt bring back PP500 or 600.

I also like the 7 laps F2007 race, which is great. 👍

What tyres on all 3 of the expert events ... anyone know offhand? Sorry I'm not at my PS3 right now!

Thanks in advance 👍

Why not 930PP?

Need glasses? :sly:

No, I just had a quick look this morning before work, and it definately say's Expert level 750pp Suzuka circuit STD. Now I am home and have another look it still say's standard, but Pro when you go into the event.

Excellent! ... I'll be back on tonight after a long break woohoo! best clear the roads haha :sly:

Thanks Ardius

Well i was hoping for a pro 600pp race, but after a few races in the pro 750pp Suzuka event this morning that'll do nicely 👍.

First corners a bit of a lottery though :scared:.

OH, ok sorry! then i need them maybe ... :)
I never look at the first page race descriptions though, cause I know PD:sly:

Yeah,

Suzuka pro 750, love it. Though I have to get used tot the pro settings.
The Clio V6 tuned is a bit of a handful round the track

Greetings

Bryan

I am really pleased to hear that, look out for a Red Clio there later. :) 👍

I'm happy with this update. I can see myself racing all 3 Expert events. The F1 race lasts around 12 minutes, which is a lot better than the 6 or so that we've become accustomed to of late. I was mad that Suzuka 750pp was STD physics, but it's just a labeling error, when you go into the settings, only PRO is selectable. And HSR lives again! LinPark will be happy about that one!
