Oookay, who is up for another tuner challenge?

And it would be interesting for example to see you (MFT & TTL) two do a car together. Or me and Roj (GME & RRV) for another example. Stuff like that. ;)

Aw, he loves me. :sly:

I'd be happy doing a joint tune as long as my name goes on it somewhere. As long as I am credited for my help, I'm always up for a 2 person effort on a tune. :D:tup:

joint tuneups? :odd: I and grey have occasionally enough disagreements about how to tune a car.. I say he makes cars unfriedly yet fast, he says I make cars noob-friendly yet almost as fast.. the 600R for example was bit of a joint effort from both of us.

Uhhh, guys, I'm the same. :dopey: I have my pride in my tunes and GME is a solo project and I've knocked back offers to join the garage aswell, but even I admit sometimes that it would be good that some of us from the Big 5 (MFT, RRV, AT, TTL & ETS) help eachother for collaborative efforts and stuff like that. me and the two Finns tune a certain car?? I like the idea, but we'll first have to go through a lot of debating before we even start. Seriously, they're a lot better tuners than I am.., heck, my experience doesn't even equate to that of Greycap's, maybe even not more than 50% of his..,

what makes it hard is that we are in different time zones, so talks and updates about the setups could take days, if not hours..,

Hey guys, I've just posted my results for FWD:cheers:
Happy capitalist......I mean Christmas and be safe in merrymaking hey, no drink driving, an that includes horse riding....(you can get booked for riding a horse drunk in Australia:dopey:) Hope no ones too mad at me for my TCv4 judgement, I was as fair as possible.....

 @ your 1/4 mile & 1000m time for my car Nuro. Dude, are you 🤬 kidding me??:lol::lol::lol: What did you do, launch it from redline in first and kept your foot flat to the floor through 1st to redline??:lol::lol::lol::lol:

That would help to the lack of improvement score when you drive my car like Miss Daisy.

I definitely didn't expect to have so much to say about the FF-Klasse before even driving it. :wince: Some corrections, some comments, you'll see in 3, 2, 1...

Adamgp: My car (A cheating 0-miler, mind you) came up with 9 less hp than you listed, so you've forgotten exhaust and/or chip from your sheet and should edit that in.

Shoman: Your setup sheet lists both NA and turbo upgrades. I suspect, judging by that power figure, that turbo is the intended one, but you should edit that.

Camryfan: You should've listed your first gear as 3.389; the 3.386 you list is impossible, 3.389 is the bottom of the scale. Yes, I know I'm splitting hairs.

Kurei: Regarding the wheels, the word you're looking for is descent. Either way, I love how you fitted Mitsubishi wheels for the photo. Also, you have easily the most awkward order of parts list I have seen yet. I mean, wow.

=drifting24/7=: Bad! Why so much ballast? Now it's just a normal Civic R with sexy looks. Okay, that's not so bad... But I prefer it to weigh as much as my laptop :)

Leonidae:  I got saliva on my screen from laughing at your parts list. Why don't you tell me what's wrong there? ;) Also, are trying to simulate welded diff or something? That LSD is just scary.

Mafia_boy: You, too, have a fun LSD :) Which, apparently, you were on when you set those gear ratios. Would it be alright if I just use the tranny from the other Megane?

Gimme 20 minutes, and I'll tell you the correct autoset because that bit was off memory EA11R, I've got the kids screaming in my ears as I type this.

Sorry, that VCD slips past me rather often.:dunce: And that LSD is as it is since I was trying to fight off excessive power oversteer, which is A.) unrealistic and B.) slows you down. This car is nearly as fast as the original version that ran on R3's.. :mischievous:

Maybe he didn't use traction control.

Anyway, good to FINALLY get some results on a class one of my cars is in.:D I must say, considering I was in a Tigra 3rd place sounds pretty good to me, so I'm happy.:dopey:

My little FTO was best in almost every way, except the .xxx loss on quarter mile.. 96 points? I'm satisfied.

What do you mean by impossible. Is it not possible in the game or not physically possible in real life or I just mis-typed (again)?

He means not possible in the game. You must have mis-typed.

Naa, I drive with the octane in go mode:crazy:

I guess that the never getting to 6th was aimed at me.. but if I wanted any traction from that FTO, that was the only way to do it.. or leave the stock tranny on.:indiff: no thanks :ouch:

Maybe he didn't use traction control.

I didn't use TCS for my times either you doofus. :irked:

EA11R, my mistake was the autoset. It's actually autoset 1 when it came to the Renault.

And the other mistake when I typed it all out. It's actually a Stage 1 turbo, not a Stage 2 turbo as I've listed. :embarrassed:

Haha, damn, I thought the del sol would do a little better but I guess it came down to how well others can drive it, not just me :scared:

(If I had driven, it'd probably would've been faster all around, but meh, too lazy with the holiday right around the corner:sly:)

Then again this is basically my most experimental FF....ever.., with the 'swapped B16' influence and all, it's going to be the awkward one of the bunch, but I felt my '97 EK9 was too common/bland, so I entered the del sol instead

-NURO: Yea, I've recently stopped getting all parts at the 'race/full custom' level because I want my car's to be more 'street' worthy while good for track use, in a sense

Also, I didn't know they were Mitsubishi wheels, I thought they were Honda's !

I've done that in many cars on GT5, using 5spd gearboxes instead of 6 for more stability and traction. It normally doesn't hurt acceleration by much more than a couple of km/hr anyway, depends on the car and how much power it has.
Hell, the Lexus ISF had 8 gears to play with and last time I only used 6.

I didn't use TCS for my times either you doofus. :irked:

Well good for you, feel like a big man now?:P  J/K

Was it now?

Also I know how the stock tranny is/was... First is a creeper gear almost on those cars.

My Civic didnt do too badly, kinda disappointed I didnt get a podium though.

No, it was a few of the other cars, though I'd not considered that any of you would intentionally leave out 6th after putting a f/c tranny in:odd:

Oh an all ASM/TCS were turned off remember.....

That still doesn't explain your slow 1/4 mile time of my car. :P

I'm checking the Hilux to make sure the autoset was right in that car considering the abortion I made of the Renault doing a memory recall. :embarrassed:

*scratches head*

Leo's FTO has a better P:W ratio than my RSX and yet is five to six tenths slower than my car at GVS and slower through the 1/4... So how is it ranked higher in possible improvement?
How much quicker do you feel the car can be made? Lower = more improvement possible, higher = the tune is closer to "right". Base it not only off cornering but the gearbox's tuning as well (can the car be kept more or less in the power band at all times? Is acceleration well balanced with where the car tops out? etc)

:odd:

Just curious mate, would like to know where I was docked in that category.

perhaps it's better to drive, in addition to the fact that the car was used one, not a new one..💡

Perhaps I would rather hear the reasoning from the person giving the score rather than the vehicle in question's creator ;)

Also:

Honda Civic Type-R (EP) '04
Comfort: 19
Cornering Attack: 18
Cornering Prowess: 21
Power to Capability: 20

Eh? Where's perceived improvement? And why is Power To Capability greater than the 15 maximum?

I'm still waiting for a serious answer on the slow ass 1/4 time. :irked: And to add to it now, how I only gained a 1 on perceived improvement when you have my handling scores in the 17-22 range for handling and comfort yet the other Megane '03 has:
a)Worse handling scores AND
b)ONLY 5hp more (WOW BIG DIFFERENCE *sarcastic*) over my small S1 turbo with his all out S3 N/A.

Yet he gets better points for perceived improvement AND power to capability??

This is going to be the same as the VTC all over again. :ouch:

It looks like he left the turbo off the car completely Mafs, and went for 161hp, not 163kw.

16.619 in your car with the turbo yanked, low 15s with stage one or stage two.

I know RJ, I feel I've been screwed ROYALLY!! And with a S2 turbo, he would've actually got into the low 14's with the setup I'd posted, nearly 270hp with that. :embarrassed:

Just to let the other judges know.........163Kw = 222hp. ;)
