Evo's got a long history of gravel drifting :D

Sure there's someone in Race 2 @ 38 seconds flying in the air backwards.

Great overtake by Gray @ 3:15. He must have hit boost. Brilliant

I wish I did have a boost button!!!

Carrying on what Narcis started with posting rigs, here is a little teaser for the ORDL S1 Gaming Rig!

I am currently building the prototype and more details will be available shortly.

The completed rig will be available via the website in either DIY kit form or plans only.

These buckets will also be available on our website either as part of the rig or as a separate unit, email ordlmanagement@gmail.com for full pricing info. Your ORDL Race number and PSN ID can be added for a small fee in the ORDL style font.

Enduro GT500 Info

Hey all drivers. As you all know we the admin team and some drivers in the enduro cup have taken some issues up after the last couple of races, cause of too meni early retirements or connection issues. So i will just inform the guys who have come with ideas and things to do, that i have heard them and i am considering them, but since we only miss 2 races without the postponed ones i cant do much. One thing thats sure is that i will be dealing out penalty's from now on. But people have to report it to me in a PM saying "lap 333 bob hit me in the nuts" or something like that.

For tonights race i am sure that we are at least 8-9 cars on grid. Maybe more.

The race tonight are moved abit later cause me, roberte, hune, rossy, and maybe narcis have some things to do before. So the race is starting 20:15 Uk time. My lounge will be open for training/warmup as usual time 17:45 Uk time. but i wont be able to be there again before 19:00 Uktime.

So all in all

Lounge open: 17:45 Uk time
Qualify starts: 20:30 Uk time
Race starts: 20:45ish Uk time

Looking forward to tonights race on TOKYO R246

Enduro GT500 Info

Hi all. if anybody is involved in a crash or have anything to report please do so after the race. And please do not leave tonight guys. It is suppose to be fun. Hope to see all Soon in my lounge. The lounge is open now for prac/warmup.

Hey anyone been running some practice laps, just to get an idea of the lap times at Tokyo. I ran a 1.45.0 in a short fun run.
Nice seat Evo, looks great. If I had money and space i would go for one

I've done a few laps in the Ferrari, best about 1-46ish. Hopefully will be close racing!

Thanks Esco, I have been waiting a month for it to arrive and I hope that when the ORDL rig prototype is finished that we can shift a few of them via the website.

Had 50 laps at Tokyo last night, mainly to get accustomed to my new driving position with the new bucket. Set a 1:44.754 but averaged around 1:45.5xx.

Sorry I have not been on much this week. Again with work and kids etc I have not had a lot of time. Slalom has been added to the RDL so a big welcome to him but I have not had chance to upload the new versions of the templates yet.

Hope to see Slalom, Spatt and a few of the other drivers who missed the opening rounds at Monza online with us tonight at Tokyo.

Itzza has made some changes on the website and some great looking stuff on there at the minute regarding event standings etc. Again my thanks to him and ed for helping make the ORDL what it is today. I will be finalising details for the Mini Event over the next couple of days and also plan the next event to follow the F430 Cup in the Race Series.

Dont forget that registering for the Mini Event - The Italian Job will be first come first served with limited places available to earn points to climb the drivers standings ready for the Champions Cup.

We will be trying to wrap up events close to the holiday season so that transfer to GT6 will be as smooth as possible. I will also be releasing the date of the Champions Cup very soon.

My lounge settings has been change to try and overcome some of the lag issues from the last round. Can all drivers attending tonight please reset/clear system cache and maybe even reset internet connection before joining.

I will also reiterate what Itzza mentioned about free run before qualifying starts, under NO circumstances should fast laps be set during this time. This is an opportunity to ensure that any issues are noted and not extra qualifying time.

See everyone on track tonight, hoping for a tight race guys.

Oops, wrong quote!!
This one is ok!!
Still looks like a smiley face!

The racing tonight was great after initial dc problems. I know that Ed was not happy about the restart after gaining pole which is understandable. If anyone is unsure about race restarts due to drivers being disconnected then please check the ORDL website for the rule section regarding disconnections. It was added to the rules after problems encountered in other races. Race result and more will be posted tomorrow.

Evo

I just read the rules, quote;

If a single driver has a connection problem / game error at the start (disconnection or black screen etc) they must try to make his way back to the lobby and send a 'restart' massage on the in game chat service within 5 minutes of the race start. The admin member hosting the race will then restart the race using a random grid. Only 1 restart per race, if multiple members are having problems and they can all return to the lobby within the 5 minutes then they will be included in the restart.

Restarting using a random grid is wrong! The restart should be the same as qualifying surely?
As there has been a lot of disconnections, now we know this rule this makes qualifying pointless!
If there is a restart it should be the same grid. That's fair isn't it?

@Gray - Random was selected in case the game lost the information from the free run (Qualifying Session), for example if everyone got disconnected from the lobby and to save re-running qualification.

It may not have been explained very well and it is my fault for not making it clear and for that I apologise. Random means choosing 1 of the other 3 options in the Race Start drop down list.

If the host was disconnected and the data could not be retrieved by GT5 then Fastest First option may not work.

It has been hard for the admin team to come up with a perfect solution for problems such as this and to take everyone's opinion into account.

I have amended the rules so that any future restart is Fastest First. This will be regardless of the data saved by Gran Turismo but it gives us a definitive default option and everyone will know where they stand.

Understandably Ed was not happy due to losing Pole Position but will still be awarded a bonus point for his effort. The race would have been restarted for anyone who was disconnected as per the rules.

Its Sods Law that it was me and that the restart put me on pole, I did hold off from the restart to drop down the order as it was unfair if I took advantage of the position.

I hope this clears this matter up for everyone and again I apologise for it not being clearer.

RACE SERIES:

Despite the problems last night there was some great racing. The F430s have made this such a tight event with no one really managing to get out in front and pull away.

Thanks to all who attended, another great race :)

ADMIN:

newmicrosoftpublisherdo.png

We have removed a large number of drivers recently. It is a little concerning as we have enjoyed some great racing with many members attending races.

Numbers are down a little at the moment but I believe we will see more interest once GT6 is released and breathes new life into the Sim Racing Leagues.

As I have said before, the admin team have seen who the regular, reliable members are and we thank for your efforts. We are looking to recruit some new, reliable drivers and if you know of anyone who may be interested in joining the league then please pass on our details.

If anyone has any concerns, whether it be last nights race, admin, members etc then please contact me or a member of the admin team.

SPECIAL SERIES:

The ORDL are proud to present our next Special Event - The Italian Job Mini Super Cup

1 night of racing only, Itzza- will be providing transport to some members who register for the event first.

He has some tuned minis to give away so be quick!

This event will give members the chance to score points for the Drivers League Table ready for the Champions Cup. This event will take place on the 17th of July starting at 19:30 UK.

The teams have already been assigned "Captains" with Itzza- Evo and Totallyteckle separated to ensure fair competition. Register by posting in the forum, again first come, first served. Drivers will then be assigned to a team and will be dependant on current league position so that we can balance teams. Can I please stress that you should only sign up IF you will attend as this is a team based event.

what do I have to do to get a green car? That is the proper colour for that Mini

The colour is lightning blue metallic mos. I will tune and run in another mini later on. As soon as 5 more members sign up for the event, I will send the cars out. The colour the driver gets will depend on which team they are put in (either red, white or blue).

Oh well just hoped you had changed the colours :/

By the way, I don't mind the extra points but I finished 5th not 3rd in race 1 at Tokyo.

My fault mos. I shouldn't have been eating a curry at the same time as doing the points. Updated now.

Ferrari template and Italian Job template are to be updated later today, Spatt you too will be added.

Dont forget to enter this months Photo Competition. Cars from the films gives everyone lots of options and I look forward to seeing everyones entries.

Speaking of photos, I have updated the ORDL Website Gallery. We have close to 100 new images from the Lexus ISF RM Championship and the German Touring Car Super Cup. Images from the Ferrari F430 Cup are to be added over the coming days.

Replays for ORDL TV have had to take a back seat due to other commitments and PC issues. As soon as I am able then I will continue to upload our replays from every race we hold.

Enjoy the gallery!
