This is a real shame and the admin team are surprised at how few signed up for the event. With GT6 drawing wver closer I believe we will see more people attending events on the new title. Dont forget we still have a few loose ends to tie up on GT5 with the last PRT race very soon. Hopefully we can end on GT5 in style and take the win. We still have a few surprises up our sleeve not to mention the Champions Cup.

So come on guys, get involved. It would be great to see some of the new members from the Pro Series get into some of the other events.

Guys, just a suggestion, and please, it's only a suggestion.

Sometimes running a lot of events all the time and having a lot going on all at once can force members to choose. Not having the time to compete in everything, practice and all, can cause weak entries.

Focusing on fewer options will boost numbers as most members will attend. At the moment GT500 is a series that needs huge effort to be competitive, then there's the team Japanese Cup also. Throw in time trails and specials will make guys say "I need to practice for X so I will give that a miss.

Just a thought as I have seen this before

Just a reminder that tonight is the last round Vs PRT. Can all team members please attend as it is vital ve have a full team to go for the win.

Sorry for the late post about Picture Of the Month but we do have a winner!

Congratulations to El_Rossy_46 for winning with his fantastic Mercedes drift!

This month ended in a tie, with Rossy posting first he takes the win.

I am just waiting for Rossy to Pm me Octobers theme and look forward to seeing the entries.

I have sent Itz the final results for the PRT event so the standings will be available soon. I hope more can attend the next event, PRT are designing an event for GT6.

It has been very quiet recently on the thread, I thing GTA5 may have something to do with it and also that GT6 is fast approaching. We still have a few events to wrap up before we say goodbye to GT5 and hope our regulars will be attending. Its nice to also see some new faces in the Pro Series and again we hope to see them cross over to our other events.

With the new year and GT6 we will be bringing great new events and formats across all series, we are still welcoming new members and 2013 has seen so much change for us since we first started out. At this point I would just like to thank everyone on the admin team for their hard work and all our members who make the league what it is. We can carry on and build upon what we have to make the racing as exciting as possible into the new year.

Something we have noticed is that out of the 30+ members in the league, there are 14 - 16 registered for the Pro Series and 8 in the JSC which still leaves quite a few members not taking part in any events.

One of the reasons the Special Series was set up was to offer one off events (stock based) for members who could not commit to a 10 round series, and for new members to get in to racing with the league quickly.

Thanks to the regular members 👍 these specials have been fun nights, but very few if any non Pro/Race drivers have taken part, which has been a shame

For the next event we have decided to give the choice of car used (it will be a one make event) to the league members. The poll is now up on the news page of the website, and members can vote 3 times. Tracks and dates will be announced by Evo shortly.

As this will be the last Race Series on GT5, the admin team have decided to use tracks that the ORDL have not yet raced on in any of the Race/Pro and Special Series.

Hey guys, the last round of the Japanese Super Cup is upon us!

I know it hasnt been the most entertaining event we have hosted overall but it has certainly provided some great moments. This will be the final Race Series race to be held on GT5. Special events will then pave the way towards the end of the year and GT6.

We hope you have all enjoyed what the Race Series has had to offer this year and it will be great to get full attendance from all those registered for the event tonight.

GT6 will be hosting some fantastic themed events in this series, as will all our other series. The comments about event times, schedules etc have all been taken on board and we hope there is more participation as per Itzzas comments.

I look forward to seeing our regulars tonight despite my appalling choice of team vehicle!

Off topic..........GT6: WOW, just watched a clip for the new track that will be in the new turismo coming soon.Mount Panorama. This track is nuts, its real narrow with blind corners at mental speed. Had not even heard of this track before as im Just starting to get into the racing scene, started out playing gt for fun but find im getting more competitive than ever since playing online. Cant wait to scream around this course on GT6.
In the meantime though See/meet you guys online soon, due home tuesday

Members page updated, I have cleared out a lot of the members who we have not seen for months, slight change to how it is displayed with red as a warning for those who have been dormant a while.

RM required - TWISTEDFIREWORK - I think I did get a request for another but cannot find it
ID - ARTICOW - No record of registration
ID - JAMSY - Registration Complete?

Can admin please check to see if I have missed anyone. All other registrations removed due to non attendance.

You may also notice a slight change as we have added licence categories to each member;

P - Pro Series
R - Race Series
S - Special Series
T - Time Trial Series

This is a new feature aimed at replacing part of the registration process. The goal is to encourage new members to work their way towards the bigger race series and will weed out those who only attend now and again.

As of now those drivers registered and racing in each category will be awarded the licences required. New members will start with a T licence, now as the TT Series is under review due to GT6 launch and a new format, these new members will be able to join the remaining events on GT5 that are yet to take place. They may not enter the Pro Series.

You can be awarded a licence upgrade in two ways;

Admin discretion;
There may be times where there are members who can be given upgrades, past members such as Ed, Spatt and King who we know were reliable may get a pass.

Races entered;
Up to 10 - T
10 - 20 - S
20 - 40 - R
40+ - P

The total for each member is already recorded on the DLT, the TT series will feature a new scoring system when unveiled for GT6, we have some really interesting stuff coming guys and we hope you will like it!

Race Series for GT6 will feature purely one make events, after the JSC we thought this would be required.

Was looking on the website, am i right in thinking there is time trials every thursday lads? Im not sure as to whether im going to sighn up for a mass of races however im on GT most nights.Defo up for some TT.

The TT Series on GT5 is essentially a filler for members to just turn up and drive with no sign up required. We used it as part of the registration process too. For GT6 there are to be some changes made but the event still wont require a sign up but there will certainly be more to get excited about.
