Yeah tire wear can be a huge problem. Sometimes you have to tune your car for consistency rather then overall speed.

As Lost said. Let me know by Sunday night of your final decision. For now i have you down as in the Lambo LP640 so if i do not hear anything i will be locking this car in come race night.

Also ensure your cars are ran in before Monday nights race to avoid any penalties. As you are new to the ORS and had little time to organise, we (ORS Commitee) allowed a bit of leniency on scrutineering with you and Mustafur. From Monday night penalties will apply if you fail scrutineering.

If by some chance you do not have time to run in your car then make sure you set its BHP atleast 12BHP lower then the regulations come Monday night.

ORS GT | SEASON 2 | ROUND 4 | PRE RACE BRIEFING

The following ORS Rules apply at all times during qualifying and racing.

- Two wheels must remain inside or on the white line at all times
- Drivers must ensure when entering the pits that they nor their b-spec driver cuts the white lines
- Drivers must stay inside pit exit line when exiting pits
- Regardless of position when overtaking the car in front has the ownership of the racing line
- Lapped cars must give way to leaders of the race and not become an obstacle
- Ramming not tolerated
- Foul language not tolerated
- Please keep text comments to a minimum while qualifying sessions are underway
- Text chat can only be used by stewards during a race

A full list of penalties and the points that will be applied to a driver for each penalty can be found by clicking the banner below.

If you do have an off be wary of the reduced grip level once you've rejoined the track. Also when rejoining, please aware of your position on the track relative to your fellow races. Drivers rejoining the track must give way to race traffic and not become an obstruction.

All drivers must ensure they have set their cars to meet required specifications (see page 1) for the race. Failure to comply can results in a point penalty, disqualification from the race to removal from the series (see infringement link above).

The following drivers need to ensure they are carrying the below ballast for Monday night.

Lost-on-drugz - 35kgs (1315kg)
jasr73 - 25kgs (1305kg)

Failure to comply can results in 1 race bans to removal from the series.

Now finally all drivers must make sure they submit their tyre choice for qualifying/race start by 12pm (Sydney time) Sunday. Once your tyre choice has been submitted you cannot change it. If you fail to nominate a tyre by the deadline you will qualify and start the race on Racing Hards.

Regards,

Oni
ORS Committee

Tyre choice is closed now. All drivers who did not nominate a tyre will be qualifying and starting on racing hards.

REMINDER TO ALL DRIVERS

Ensure your cars are setup to the specifications on page 1. Failure to pass after race scrutineering will see points deducted. In addition all AWD cars must have their differential set to 10/90 or penalties will apply.

If you did not submit a tyre choice before the 12pm Sunday deadline you will be qualifying and starting on the racing hard compound.

Now for the video from Round 1.

ORS - Stewards Review –Round 3: Deep Forest (sprint)

Fastest Laps confirmed
– apologies I have not had time to do fastest lap hero boards – this will make a return for future rounds. :)

Race 1
Oni legal on lap 3 (M) with a 1.13.031
Race 2
Rod legal on lap 2 (M) with a 1.13.066
Race 3
Rod legal on lap 3 (M) with a 1.13.141

New comers / car specifications - X4rotorsploxX and mustafur
New drivers joining the series for the first time where not able to meet the required car specifications with new vehicles being run-in and gaining HP for each race.

We have discussed this and are willing to apply a degree of leniency here as it was these drivers first round. However we will be issuing a warning here. Please ensure that your car has been fully run in and meets the car specifications prior to tonight’s race. Further failures during after race scrutineering will result in a loss of points for the upcoming round(s) if your car does not meet specifications mentioned in the OP.

If your car is not run in, please ensure you are reducing your cars HP by enough to ensure the run-in factor. Best bet if it is a new car is to run it in a B-Spec race to get it fully run-in, if you're time poor. 👍

Toivo starting on Medium tires.
With no nominated Medium tire nominated within the established time frame. Toiv as you are an experienced campaigner please ensure that you are starting on hards going forward if you haven't nominated an alternative tire prior within the required time frame window.
As a result of this infraction we can't allow points accumulated for Race 1. Points for Toiv will be from Races 2 and 3.

Queries, concerns, comments? Please let us know. :)

Cheers,
Jas

Oh man!!! Just because it would have 2 pictures of me:P

Great race last night boys!

I am very happy with it...it all worked well last night...made no silly mistakes, managed to conserve tyres and had a good pace....not much to say really....really , really happy.

Had some great fights with Mustafur, X4rotorsploxX and Oni, always very clean and professional.

I know I keep saying this but it is such a pleasure to drive on this series, so thank you everyone for making it this way.

Looking forward for next week.

Cheers

I had a good race untill oni fell behind and i started loosing concentration and started getting tired eyes and making heaps of mistakes. Think oni was keeping me awake with the presure. Still 4th all in all good race. Good win rod

Fun race, had an Average start off the line but was able to keep all the hard runners behind.me.for.the first few laps, rod then eventually got pass and then Around lap 4 he braked a bit early on T1 and it forced me wide, lost ground on him after that and slowly went backwards.

My car lost pace quite rapidly in the middle of the stints, but it felt very good on mediums in the early laps, i had third in the bag but then was forced to pit with 4 laps to go as i was consuming much more fuel then expected, that dropped me to 5th where I stayed.

First stint was great fun with Rod. Nice n clean and the only incident I had was with a late braking Evora - not concerned as there were no casualties.

Just a shame that I damaged my car by hitting the barrier after 130R on Lap 7. Saw Rod a lil sideways and got a bit excited for an overtake into the chicane - did not end well for me. So after that I instantly darted for the pits to repair the damage. Really hurt my strategy as I was hoping to do atleast 10 laps on the Hard. So instead I ended up doing 13 lap stints on the mediums which is no fun in the Lambo.

None the less was happy with my gifted 3rd. Go team Lambo haha

Definately know what you are talking about.....the moment Oni made a mistake and I opened up a gap, I relaxed and started making mistakes....crazy stuff! :yuck::lol:

I hate this track and can't get a set up for it, so I'll go hards and keep out of the fast guys way.
