And just a reminder guys that its only the comp entry picture that needs to comply with the theme for the week.

The other pictures can be whatever pictures you take.

You're maybe going to have 3 or 4 good ones that fit the theme. Then post them too, show that they're the 'theme' ones, but still highlight your favourite as Comp Entry.

LOL! Poor Taital. Mate you'll get a chance to silence the critics on Monday night. :D
Ohh and Mic, is my current 'tentative entry' acceptable? I figured the old/ ancient Coloseum and the new Lexus Race car would fit the description?

Round 3 Comp Entry

Not wanting to influence the Judges/Contestants, but these are fantasic examples of the kind of mental images I had when trying to come up with a Theme! 👍

Yeah, either way it's always the image poster's choice, theme is always gonna be an interpretive thing. If someone has an odd way of thinking about their comp entry, just put a few words with it, explaining what you're thinking.

And anyway it looks like Cactass has already answered that question with his post.

I kind of figured that the combination of the old Roman and the modern Racecars was what Cactass meant.

ps: Actually if I remember the locale right from the 3 days I was in Roma (quite some time ago) is that the actual Circus Maximus (where the Chariots raced) is off to the left of the back straight. But there's no real structures there, just some old stone terrace seating that's been unearthed. Wouldn't make for much of a GT5 picture, if those stone seats are even rendered.

Hey guys, just found this thread and this looks great 👍
I have raced a few of you in public lobbies a while back (haven't used Burnin_Rubber668 for a while) and know the high standard of driving I can expect to find here :D
If it is too late to join in then I will keep a close eye out for this season to end and the next to start ;)
Keep up the good work and I look forward to racing you all :)

Glad to see that you found this thread Jon. 👍

I don't know the guys involved in this series but when i see all the work done in the OP's, i could guess that is a great series with great guys 👍

Looking forward to the end of the season to read your feedbacks, especially the tires regulations which seems to be a nice innovation ;)

Thanks guys , tried to do something different , but that colliseum (sp?) is pretty hard to beat hey.

Great use of telephoto mode to compress the background and so enhance the Coliseum. (salutes the spinmeister!)

This Weeks entries end Saturday again?

The dead-line is loosely set as Saturday Midnight. Of course if there's a good reason to push it back into Sunday, that could still be done.

Is there a reason you're asking?? If it's going to be Sunday before some guys can get their entries in then yeah the dead-line can be adjusted.

Great photos Evan & MrT! 👍

Race graphs are (Finally!) done Gents. Apologies for the delay. Work/Life keeps getting in the way lately!

Nice pics taits, and thanks again cac, graphs look great as usual :)

Just a quick check on average times round Indy? Fastest Softs time? and maybe how many laps your getting out of them. Cheers in advance

Haven't done any tyre testing yet. Did a low 32 on softs with tyre wear off during the week. Gonna do at least 2 stops , is that helpful ? lol

Thanks for the graphs too Cac , awesome job mate :) Some good photo entries this week guys, good stuff. Gonna be interesting to see the result !

Hey spin, Thanks for getting back to me with lap times, but no it doesnt help at all because thats bloody quick!! haha thanks mate

Sorry to steal your thread oni, but I know a fair few people in the series are keen on this enduro coming up Sunday the 4th of June. We are finally running the XR8's around Rome (sorry its so close to last rome race, didn't plan that!)

But if any of you are keen, please let me or spin know asap, as if we do not get the numbers we will push the XR8 race to a later date.

Head over to this thread

instead of posting in this series, Cheers everyone

Okay just a reminder to anyone who hasn't placed a vote in this week's photo comp.

Voting will close at 7:00pm (ish) or there abouts.

I'm highly in doubt for tonights race, I'm severely struck down with a virus and I'm struggling to focus on one thing other then the spinning surroundings of my room.

This weeks winner is:

Some stats, a graph:

Just a note, the votes and their positions shown here don't relate to the order in which the pictures were shown in the 'vote card'. It just shows vote amounts from least to most.

To sum up, kind of close. The finding of a visual version of the theme wording might have been the key.

So Evan, well done and we just need a theme for next weeks comp.

Also it was good to see this week having more pictures posted, in general plus for the comp. Keep up the good work guys.

Thanks.
