And look....The fan was on some early F1 cars too.. Originally ment for cooling, but it also sucked the car to the ground... neat

it is freakin loud. i saw it at road america in 2001. it sounds like a jet turbine combined with a 60's can am V8. its the worlds fastest street sweeper

yahh - that is a good idea though, a car that has a reverse hovercraft effect on the ground could corner very tightly at high speeds i predict.
