But these new Fords are a blast to drive! They stick to the road extremely well, even in the wet.

Say daan, when you're grabbing screens, are you using the game's F12, or Fraps? Fraps seems to lower my resolution to 800x600 which sort of kills the quality, imo.

I use F12 when I'm on track. I use fraps when I want a screenshot from the showroom bit, but it takes them at 1440x900 as it should.

The template is just the GTL GT40 one that you can get from gtr4u.de

its just abit tweeked you can get that bi turbo 1.8 or the V6 version.

just tried the biturbo on a wet knockhill i think it prefers snetterton more.

Had a 20 lap race at Hockenheimring last night with my AI using the DTM cars. Needless to say, we did pretty good. Started 5th, finished 2nd. My AI made a great attempt at the end, but couldn't do it. But, I have found these shorter races with cars like the Carrera Cups or DTMs are a lot more competitive.
Had a tough time this morning just trying to get as fast as them on Zandvoort.

Anyways, since I recorded nearly the whole race, I'm having to upload them in parts. So, Part 1 should be available soon.


Mind you there's really no special effects or anything, just the race.

Just been in a race over at NoGrip using the NGTs at Barcelona.

Qualified 12th, finished 5th.

Ive had a couple of league races at nogrip, zuhai 10% rain in GT's, engine failed on the last lap, damn unreliable Lambo and a monaco 79 night race also in a selection of GTs'.

Might get back into it when I get my new pc.

You're just not gentle enough on that big V12.
I've won quite a few races with my R-GT.

My next race, though, will be different. Going to be doing a 24H race at Daytona RC with the Audi R10 in mixed classes. Qualified 7th tonight (right behind Audi's 1 & 2 amazingly) with a time of 1:37.215.

Im quite aggressive with the cars So I have a tendancy to pick the more reliable cars, I think on that race though the Lambo was the easiest and fastest to drive.

Those last two hits that car took had to hurt! No surprise if the driver of that car had to pit for repairs. And if the driver was you daan, what happened in the rest of the race for you?

None of the others had to pit. Yes, the driver spun round was me.

I got spun round, and then hit in the front and gained a puncture, all in the first corner. Slow lap round to the pits, changed the tyres (keeping my medium fronts and hard rear setup.) Came out of the pits just as the leaders were passing, but managed to slot in behind the 6th place car for the first corner, then let 7th and 8th past me before the next hairpin.

I then circulated just behind Ollie in 8th and pulling away from APEXTECH in 9th. Gained a place when Steve's engine exploded, but didn't gain another place until about lap 15.

Was catching Apollyon for position near the end when Doc Death and Karlos caught me up. I let them through, and just at that point Apollyon spun.

Was able to keep up with Karlos for a few laps before I realised that I may have been distracting him, so I dropped back. I had no intention of overtaking, but he wouldn't have known that.

Even though the result was disappointing, (I had the pace to finish in the top 8) I enjoyed the race.

EDIT: Haven't seen a replay yet, but I will not be blaming anyone for the first corner. Just a racing accident.

I finished 16th. Results.

Which is amazing considering how much power the R-GT puts on its rear wheels. But I can't set good laps with the car, unforunately. I'm always much faster in the MC12 or amazingly, the Saleen.

daan the guy that did the evo 7 has did the 2 5's aswell he just forgot to upload them,they should be up by the end of the day.

now just need xtreme-motorsport to finish the real thing to find out how much power the 7 makes so we can get it as close to the real thing in the game

Great vid, loved the overtaking of the Peugeot. Why does it have more straightline speed than you?

24 hours of Le Mans race I ran in some time ago using NASCAR 2003 for the PC. Just part 1 of 8. If you're interested for more after the video is done it should show part 2 etc. I am driving the #17 WRRacing Mercedes Sauber car. I tried to show highlights of everyone, but in some of the vids there is some good bits of me driving, but mostly action of others

No, the creator of the Audi limited the car to only 174Mph, which hurts it if you try to even race the RS Spyder, because the Audi will run up to top speed within seconds.

that's some going. Since I got the 360 I haven't played any race sim PC games, and XBOX lacks a real hardcore sim game uutil the rumored release of Ferrari Project.
