Yes

IMDb says no. The two programmers have different entries. I remember getting involved in a q and a with the Elite programmer once. He was pretty annoyed at my suggestion that the 3D was based on Acornsoft's previous release (Geoff Crammond's Aviator flight sim) and proceeded to tell me so in no uncertain terms so I wondered whether the SMS director was the same spiky and irascible guy. Thankfully this isn't the case. 👍

occasionally my T300 veers off to the left when the grid loads and has been known to move left and right by itself. doesn't happen a lot but hopefully that'll get fixed too.

And adding to that, my T100, usually in an online race, sometimes becomes very sensitive from lock to lock, and it is therefore very twitchy and hard to drive properly. But if i then go back to a solo race with the same car at the same track, it then becomes fine again as i calibrated it. A strange one!

RELEASE THE PATCH PLEASE SONY!!!!!!

I know how to change it. I don't know how can you drive, be precise and fast at cornering, with this ginormous lock?

I always use 900 and have no trouble keeping up. The game also automatically adjusts the steering lock for cars that use less than 900, Formula A for example. You can also adjust the steering ratio in the tuning menu and I often do for tracks that are more twisty and with more tight turns. I tend to prefer the higher precision that 900 offers vs. lowering it for quicker steering response.

Tried it all, no change here.

I know, believe me.
I reported the problem on the PCars forum too. Got no distinct answer, neither did anyone tell me it might be harmful for the wheel.
So if it should break, I will act accordingly.

Let's hope! If its really true and it's weeks away that will be due to Sony and Ms's approval process mainly, so i hope we get it on Steam without having to endure procedures of 2 companies that have nothing to do with us.

Yeah, yeah, Steam users get the patch first - rub it in, why don't ya.

Sounds like you may need those extra couple of weeks to redo all your FFB settings for each car.

Haha can't rub it in too much, it hasn't been confirmed though so maybe they want to release the darn patch on all platforms simultaneously for whatever reason

Sounds like you may need those extra couple of weeks to redo all your FFB settings for each car.

Doug the physics guy confirmed today it will just be the default settings in the control menu. So i guess the changes in the individual ones will be subtle.

Really? I was thinking it may be something like those tweaker files that make the cars feel a bit better at the car level. If it is just the global settings then I do not know what to expect.

Honestly could be full default changes for each car.. that would be smart of them actually. Sorry I guess I should not be stating my speculation without stating that it is just that, speculation.

From what I read on the official forums it is just the default settings under controls/FFB and not the car setups. So you were correct.

900 degrees is the standard for pretty much every wheel.

Seems more and more users are getting it by the day...

This has happened for me when using my t300 gte in both Project Cars and Driveclub so it seems to be a ps4/thrustmaster issue rather than a game bug.

I'm not sure about real life race cars.

Imagine a F1 driver handling a wheel with 900 degrees... F1 cars and lots of other racing spec cars have very short wheel lock.

This has happened for me when using my t300 gte in both Project Cars and Driveclub so it seems to be a ps4/thrustmaster issue rather than a game bug.

it's a random button pressing from the t300, i had and have i too and it's a common failure of the t300. il will change before the 2 years warranty will expire. The problem is that is very random.

it's a wheel problem, i had it also in driveclub and it's a common issue. Your wheel like mine is faulty and should be replaced within 2 yrs warranty before it gets totally broken. i'm not kidding, i will do the same. the problem is that till now is so random you can't even make a video of it to ask for substitution. i contacted thrustmaster and they confirmed it's a common issues, faulty wheels but they want a video. i will undergo refund through amazon however. Unlucky us.

I am.

The vast majority of purpose built race cars do not have 900 degree steering (they have significantly less) and some road cars don't (my Alfa doesn't).

I guess "nearly" is relative. 2 weeks from today is June 17. Not nearly July for me. Nearer to July than now, yes. But let's not get into GT6 patch release date silliness.*

Sure mate, but i was referring more about the monthly free car DLC....When can we expect it?
