Nothing has been officially announced yet regarding that deadline. No disrespect to the guy(s) that reported on this story as I'm sure they meant well, but unless there is an official announcement from PD on their newspage, its all just hearsay and should be taken as such. You guys could save yourselves a lot of disappointment by following this simple advice. Even if you do have some super secret inside information, it is just best to keep it to yourself because we have seen how that has turned out in the past also. So, just go on about your business as usual and keep an eye on their news page and when something is announced with a definite date, then you can start to be excited. Even then though, I would not pop the cork on the champagne until I have actually downloaded the update.

Thanks for pointing out the one fact that is known about this update is that it's coming sometime in September. As there are still 17 days left in September, it's still within time, despite what some people suggest.

I've still got my holiday to finish so I can wait... It would be nice for it to come out before 30 September but no official word means no one knows when...

Yeah, look at the level of dissapointment some of us had with 1.11.

Theories on why PD is delaying 1.12:
1. They might be adding a surprise feature that was not announced (B-Spec, Community events, or all cars in arcade mode), but all of us don't know yet. They might either release the Subaru and/or Alfa Romeo Vision GT as it was in the game's coding system in 1.11.
2. There could be a lot of bugs that are in the update and PD are trying to fix them.
3. Kaz and everyone at PD are just lazy monkeys and always have confusion and delay
on their minds.

Don't forget shuffle racing,we all need it back.

If it's a 9-5 kind of office then we have not much more than 2 hours left...

I can answer a few for you!
The latest update occured at around 7.30pm Japan Time. So PD Employees will probably stay at the offices at some days till around 8pm. I do actually think he might be refering to his time zone so we could see the update in the next 18hrs...

software updates at my workplace are pushed out by a server schedule at midnight, automatically.
once everyone has left and there is virtually no users to disrupt and minimal network traffic.
Backups are done automatically, and after that, updates are pushed out to individual workstations.

there's no real reason for PD to be any different in their process from their master (working) servers to the update servers that our systems DL the content from.
