People who want GT6 FOR PS4!

Going through the threads I have not noticed a page that deals directly with People who ONLY want the Next Gran Turismo title to be on the Next Generation hardware!

The reason I personally want GT6 for PS4 is so that the longevity of the Game is suited for the Console. Meaning a potentially amazing game that we can all enjoy for 7 years! However I understand that with Cloud services that dilemma might solve itself anyway! With the benefits of new hardware which was most likely a similar structure or architecture to what they code on for GT5 then transferred or adapted to be compatible with Cell, the transfer to the PS4 might not need nearly as much time as People think. I would love to hear a announcement at E3 that GT6 is a Day 1 PS4 game! Why not? It would explain the hush? Also Kaz stated before that the cars were over detailed for this gen and they had to be drawn back! Well there's a massive chunk of work already done. I also believe there is no merit to the 2 games per Gen quota! It's more complicated then that. Now of course discussion is welcome for people who only want it on PS3 but I would want the focus on People who desire it on next gen and what their ideas and speculation on what an 8 core, 176gb/s bandwidth 8GB GDDR5 beast can do with Polyphony Digital, an exciting prospect to me!

A-list titles should not remain in the shadow of the PS4, game released a year before a new console should be B-list and below.

The reason I think it will be on PS4 is they said they were actually limited using the PS3 so they would pretty much be releasing gran turismo 5.5 if they did, it would have same graphics just maybe better gameplay. And what kind of business decision is that? U could either have a held back game or an all out assault take your pick..…………Just my opinion

It needs the performance increase the PS4 will bring, PS3 is at its limits with GT5
Sony will sell more PS4s by having thier biggest selling game on it.
and PD are the people to show the PS4's capabilities off

Ditto. Especially on the Prologue garbage. That was a demo, not a full release.

Not angry, but there are already quite a few AAA list games coming out in the next six to eight months - Sony want to continue supporting the PS3.

To the OP - you can wish all you like but I seriously doubt that will change Sony's business plan for their console release.

GT6 release in the next 1-2 month (very unrealisitic for PS3) and Gt7 for PS4 short after release. Thats what I want . But I expect Gt6 in 2014 for PS4. Gt can profit so much from ps4 so a release in early console cycle would be great.

I too want GT6 on the PS4. It would be one of the games that would make me buy a PS4.

I mostly purchased my games for PC since the last half of 2012. The lack of hardware power gets more and more obvious now.

I dont see a reason why PD should not take the benefits of a PS4 release. The only backdraw for some gamers would be the purchase of a new console. But after 6 + years it is overdue.

And for people that want a GT for the PS3 there is still GT5.

Don't think I'd be happy being stuck with a 2+ year old game that's so boring, I had to start hybriding to make it interesting again. IMO, the PS3 hasn't gotten a proper GT yet.

I am with you. GT5 was indeed boring in many parts.

But it looks like we wont get GT6 before next year. We all hope that they just hold the information back to surprise us, but we also know that Sony just doesnt care and that PD likes to take their time.

I want it on the PS4 to see an evolution in every single part of the game. Fluid menus, better graphics, more cars on the track, more possibilities in every way.

Hopefully weathereffects that will blow our mind. Wind, snow and strom that will effect the road and trackside conditions.

I dont think that those things are possible on the PS3. The PS3 was a great console, but it is time to let the new generation go on.

It is really nerve-wracking to see all the whining from people that bought their ps3 late in this console cycle.

I agree with everything mentioned in this thread. GT5 was not a properly finished game. Beyond terrible and very unfinished at launch to say the least. It has made a lot of improvements but in order for PD to meet their goals, they need to wait until the PS4 is released. GT6 will not release on the PS3. As a huge fan of the GT series I found the standards beyond insulting. Regarless of whenever it will release, it better not have 1 single "standard" car. Period. As soon as I heard about the standards in GT5 I decided not to buy the game. I later received it as a christmas present. If GT6 even mentions the word "standard" I will officially be finished with the series.

What they should do is leave all standards out of the game from the retail copy and DLCs completely but have an option for those that want the standards from older games to be transfered on their part on their own time.

You seem a bit out of touch with reality. Few players will stick with a single GT game for half a decade or more. Sure, a couple people here and there, refusing to buy an Xbox, will cradle GT long after 97% of buyers have moved on, and there will always be late adopters buying it at a bargain price of $20 half a decade down the road, but that isn't the same as us all enjoying it for seven years. You also need to remember that many PS2 owners still haven't even picked up a PS3 yet, and the transition to PS4 should be even slower, so it will be several years before many GT fans pick up a PS4.
