Tri spoke wheels.
R32 has a TommyKaira grille! Super cool.
That looks great.
And by far the best example of a chopped Beetle top I've ever seen--not just the work required, but all of the planning before any physical work was done. It still amazes me how much genuine effort can go into modifying vehicles for racing; I mean, it's one thing to tub and tube, but another thing entirely to care how it looks once it's done.
The roof suggests hot rod on that beetle, the wheels say otherwise. That looks great.
Seeing that pic has jogged my memory. Old F1 driver 'Nelson Piquet' owned a rather nice chopped Beetle (Fusca in Brazil). Not sure whether this was the one, or just a similar one done by the same tuner.
Thread needs some Ab-flug.
[Edit]
I think that may actually be Nelson Piquet in the pic, so that's probably his.
I remember reading an article about it, around late 80's early 90's. So that kinda explains the wheels. The roof suggests hot rod on that beetle, the wheels say otherwise.
