the actual race depending on what car you use takes around 2-2 n half hours, which depending on your internet speed and re-installing the game data from disk after you've done sponging will actually be quicker than doing the glitch. and you get a warm feeling of pride knowing you've done it all by yourself

thing is tho, depending on connection speed as well as re-installing data from disk its probably quicker to just do the a-spec race which as i said in post above, only takes just over 2 hours, in reality glitching isnt really quicker for that car.
Its also been worked out that by using an enzo on the Circuit de la sarthe ferrari challenge in online events section that you can get from zero credits to 20million in about 3hours grinding (500k every 3 n half min race) and if u setup a second account you can get to 20mill credits, backup yoursave and have infinite money if done right and sponge as many cars over to yourself as you need, you can buy the ford gt mk4, test car II, xj13 race car, miura, red bull ect. just buy car, glitch it over, refresh save, buy car glitch over.

My connection speed is 7.9Mbps download and 343Kbps upload, im sure Germany and other countries have much faster internet then England??

its all down to your download speed of the update. I can get about 2 cars in just over an hour cos my ps3 is wired into router and i get about 17mbps steady connection. obv if your on a good fibre optic at 50mbps it'll be a helluva lot quicker same as if ur only on 1mbps it'll take several hours per car due to taking ages to download all the updates
If you have a fast connection and your still experiencing slow downloads then cable your ps3 in if your using wireless as wireles is really restricted. also ensure you have no other systems downloading anything, smart phones, torrents, other games systems online, playing online game son pc ect. everything will increase time of update download
