I don't have 2x PS3's, but I have a extra 2,5" HDD. Swapping the HDD is for sure 1000x faster as restoring a backup or redownloading the update. I'll give it a try tomorrow.

A 67 ticket might easier in that case.

I'm all for this glitch, but I think it only really pays off for the X1 Carbon and cars that come from crowded tickets (25+ cars per ticket, like level 23, 2000-2010, etc).

Still at least this way, you're guaranteed the car. And no dull grinding.

I'm 99% sure that swapping HDD's causes the HDD to be wiped clean by the PS3.

Good idea. I as well have an extra HDD.
If your results are successful you may have found the 'quick' way for 1 console.

Also once more, swapping HDD's may lead to you losing all your data. If you're going to try it, back up your stuff.

If it's a new one (unformatted and/or never inserted into your PS3), then yes. But I am sure not if you unplug & replug your current HDD.

Oddity #2, the X1 was unshared when I booted the game. I've shared it again. Were the people who added me able to get it, or was it unshared before?

Oh and if people are still wondering if DLC content such as chrome line cars are unaffected by this glitch, then the answer is that: It does not affect it at all. But I think if it was affected, shouldn't you just check the downloads from your playstation store? If this was already resolved, sorry for being redundant

Ok, LISTEN UP GUYS, THIS IS ALL I KNOW AT THE MOMENT AFTER DOING IT 3 TIMES:

1. THE CARS DO WORK AFTER THIS GLITCH
2. YOUR PAINTS WON'T BE REMOVED
3. YOUR PICTURES AND COURSES WILL BE DELETED
4. CHROME, AND MATTE (haven't tested shift yet) PAINTED CARS WILL BE OKAY BUT THE THUMBNAILS WILL SHOW WHITE OR SILVER
5. THIS TAKES A LONG TIME
6. CHROMELINE AND STEALTH WILL NOT BE AFFECTED BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO REINSTALL IT WHICH MEANS MILES AND SWITCHES DO NOT COUNT AND MODS DON'T EITHER
