Exactly.......Seriously i play this game to RACE people, this is a RACING game after all, RACE me with the cars youve won/earnt, not traded or duped i think its mostly kids who are p i s s e d with the new v1.07 patch......
either stop moaning or stop playing and buy something more suitable for youself i.e NFS or TDU2.....

Now, it's the people with jobs and limited time which aren't planning on spending all of it on stupid grinding for little money.

This is by far the most dumb remark you can make. Why would NFS be more suitable when I want a change to drive 1032 different cars on a somewhat realistic level?

Right I'm going to jump in here, check my signature, I have probably achieved more than you have in this game (TeddyBear). I know pretty much every track on GT5 (barring dirt & snow tracks as rallying isn't something I enjoy doing) I know the Nurburgring off by heart so to speak, every corner, every bump to look for. I use advanced driving techniques and I know how to tune my cars, I have helped others to tune their cars, and anyone who has received my car in a trade, has commented on how they like the set up. I have won countless races online, I have won one make races online, I have won with underpowered cars online etc. etc. I drive with no aids at all, not even ABS, and I still win online against people who use SRF. Am I qualifying for a say on this topic yet Teddy-Bear? (Don't answer I don't care for your opinion)

So after all of the above being said ... I agree and join the petition. I don't have time to raise 20million Cr. for a car, I don't have time to do the longer endurance races, I don't have time for the FGT Championship either ... For gods sake I haven't even had time to do the X1 challenge, I've golded one of three and can't even think about doing the other two.

All of the kids who are on half term / coming up for half term enjoy your endless running around the Indy 500 track which you have learnt so well!

sorry but i have way more then you completed..im 2 trophies from platinum for gt5
 
Platinum Trophy means nothing, it just proves you have more free time than I do. Thats no achievement to hold onto. You where trying to say that it was people who couldn't play the game who where unhappy about the trading well I proved I can play the game and yet I am still unhappy at the update.

What you kids / small minded people are refusing to accept / missing is that people with jobs, who have limited time want to enjoy playing GT5, driving the same car on the same track is no fun, and nor is 80% of online racing because it is very hard to find a decent race & I don't want to be tied in to a racing league, it just wouldn't suit me. Trading kept it interesting for racing and for trading.

As I said in another thread I am not spending any of my precious free time grinding to "earn a car" because PD overpriced the thing to begin with, actually, to quote myself from another thread:

i agree, as my life now stands i will only have chance to play gt5 on a weekend, and all of you who are calling us wingers in this thread can go get *****d if they think i'm spending my precious little free time grinding to get money for overpriced cars ... I'm done with the gt series now though, only time i'll bother playing gt5 from now on is when i have a bit of time to play the seasonals, every other aspect of gt5 may aswell not exist, a spec is dead for the sake of grinding / no save in endurances, b spec is dead because there's no point doing it you may aswell hope others use your b spec drivers in remote races and save yourself some time, and online is now a farce aswell, collecting cars was the only aspect of gt5 that i enjoyed and now thats gone, aswell as two 1million+ cars that i was owed! Plus the two 1million+ cars i'm now out of ... Well done pd, you've killed gt5 once and for all.

I borrowd my F1 to my friend last wensday before v1.06 the next day we have a nice option for it now my friend is a day to late to give it back ... come PD cut me some slack i spend ages to get that F1 undo the trade restriction

I disagree......i have a job, a kid n Mrs and i find the time to earn my cars the real way...... so are you saying all the people with jobs and little time, its ok to dupe and trade your cars because you cant do it in the little free time u have.....bore me later...

well seen as though you can partex your car in real life, and you can actually trade your car for another in real life yes I guess trading your cars is ok?

My mates Dad owns Halliwell Jones and they had a guy come in and trade his gorgeous Ferrari (was really nice, Ferrari 360 in red, so nice!) for a couple of minis ... It does happen

This is a petition to revert v1.07 1m trading ban. Why the job r u posting here? Go start your own petition to not revert it and see how many supporters you have.

I don't dup but I don't like my fundamental right to trade and gift taken away. I was intending to gift my friend a F10 and now
It's impossible.
The facility is available and I bought the game so I have to be able to use it.

well said. i was supposed to trade with someone but that fell through thank god i didn't give him my car. and earning your way through the game is alot funner to me anyways.

coz i feel its sad that people want to throw away the hard work that gt5/pd have done to release this update..
i dont need to start my own petition coz hopefuly this patch will remain so that people who earnt thier money and spent 20,000,000 on a ferrari f1 will not feel hard done by when they see some john trade it to someone in a lobby for nothing...

It's not like you experienced any disadvantage from it, besides maybe losing the possibility to brag.

wow thats an overpriced Ferrari! Mine costs half that much! Maybe your playing a different game?

you do realise that the guy who bought the F1 also had the option to trade for it aswell? ... fundamentally making your argument useless (which btw ginger well done for cocking up on the price of the F1 thus making your own argument useless before I proceeded to do the same)

Why dont you set your ferrari to online so your friend can borrow it? that would make sense....

i'm relativley happy with 1.07 apart from recently finding out this ban on over 1,000,000 credit trades..

What people dont seem to understand is that grinding is irritating,especially if you want to drive an xj13,GT40 mkIV or 330 P4.We don't have all the time in the world to get 20million cr.But no,they come here to a thread named *anti 1.07* to bitch about it.Its like going into a BMW forum and typing "BMW'S suck,mercs rule".Let people play the game the way they want to obtain the cars they want.

Not to mention there are car's we'd like to get rid off by TRADING.So what if the car's we do want to get rid off is over 1000000cr,that shouldnt be banned.

These guys don't consider everything.I personally don't dupe(I race most of the time actually) but the fellas who do have traded with me those cars I couldnt possibly have obtained myself(I dont play too often afterall).

That is all.

Make GT5 more balanced before you limit trading - Make higher priced cars more attainable first - Lots of credits available from seasonals every so often doesn't make it balanced
 
I wonder if PD ever thought people were going to trade expensive cars when they added the feature....... I think so somehow :S
 
Everyone complains about X1s everywhere and duping...but when PD sort it you complain more? They can't do everything.

Did PD want a reputation where people could give away cars? Erm, that seems to be a good decription of gifting ... Which is something PD implemented all by themseleves, so yes ... yes I guess they did intend to get that reputation.

Did PD want the reputation of an incompetent games developer? No they didn't but they still relased 1.07
