There is 1 more event I play. The Wendys Chili Open. This is fun, freezing ass cold sometimes, but fun.

Chili Open
Lucky you . That makes me want to really play golf in Australia one day. I will have to add Australia to Scotland as places I want to go and play golf.

Chili Open
I'd play in it
It's the last Saturday in February ... come on up.
BTW - bring some warm clothing though.
cnd01The days are getting shorter, and I'm unable to play as much golf as I would like to. I'm hoping I can squeeze in a few more rounds before time changes.
The pro-shop I work at recently started selling GolfBuddies. Those things are pretty cool. http://www.golfbuddyglobal.com/ Check them out. They are pretty cool.
I've seen some of these GPS systems and they're pretty cool.
I got a Bushman laser ranger and I give it a workout every now and then
Meantime I'm off 10 now and I shot 10 over yesterday, 7 front and 3 back
I refuse to use them, its meant to be a difficult game, its like racing go karts with traction control, loses its purity,
I know a lot of golfers like that. Others think it's assinine to spend $250 on something that tells you how far away you are. I try to have at least 1 person in my foursome that has one That way I get the yardage for free
Smart tee time booking
Well I always try to set myself up with someone who has a SkyCaddie in my $5 dogfight group
Anyone using Bridgestone B330's ?
I'm typically a Pro V1 fan, but this last year I've hit some Bridgestones and they felt pretty good. Maybe it's just me, but they had that "softer" feel to them. Distance was about the same, accuracy remained about the same. They did not change my score much, but they just had a feel to them. Price, well it too remains about the same, roughly $40 - $45 p/doz. pending shop / store.
Any personal input ? I'm thinking of changing.

I've got some in my bag now that you mention them
I normally use Z-Stars but I'll see if the B330s make a difference to my game on wednesday
I like the B330 better because I think it goes straighter off the tee. I played a ProV1-X today, and my tee shots were all over the place.
I use the Bridgestone B330-S, and I really like using them.

I use the B330 when I run out of Wilson Staff FG tour X balls, they are the straightest and longest ball by tens of yards for my golf,
Can I ask what part of them you liked ? Feel ? Accuracy ? Distance ?
hit any ball correctly and it will do what you want it to do, some do it better then others, like the pro v 1 drop and stop, which I don't like at all, I prefer high speed spin for dual check, or back spin, I like to be safe to fly green side bunkers and even the pin to have it spin back to the hole,
I haven't touched a pro v1x in a while cause I felt I was playing off a too higher handicap to be using them properly.
Meanwhile the Z-Stars are a solid ball as well, fairly accurate and gives me a fair amount of distance and I can get backspin when needed.
But with all the praise of the B330's I gotta try one tomorrow now
