Well I can't really diss the B330s today, I shot 6 over

In comparison to the Z-Stars, I got a lot more spin and control on wedge shots compared to a Z-Star, I hit the ball slightly further but no more then 5 metres and my slightly bad shots didn't seem to spray out has much as a Z-Star.

Off the tee I easily found the B330s straighter even off some bad tee shots.
They feel good around the green with my pitches and chips as I can spin them a fair bit unlike a Z-Star.

The B330's overall are a solid ball, I think I'll keep using them 👍

Thank you very much Stavingo, your input is greatly appreciated. ;)

You're welcome, I think I need to thank half of you guys on here for giving it so much praise to make me try out a B330  And for the fact that now with my round today I'm now off singles :)

I bought another box of B330-S balls today just because we've been saying how good they are  I have 2 other boxes just sitting at the house.

Haha I'm definitely gonna cash in a few vouchers at my pro shop so I can get a few more as well :D

wow you guy's seriously get ripped buy the balls! see what I did there, I have never paid more the $46 for a dozen, I paid $57 for 4 dozen tour D NIKE balls but jeez, I google discount golf gear, the first non sponsored site, I get most of my balls from there, the balls usually are last season run out stock, but if the item is still advertised on the net and they don't have it in stock they will give you the new version at the same price,

or I rock through the local drummond golf, but even still they aren't as expensive as what you guys are paying,

You're winning those comps because of all the great advice you're getting on here :P .

He (Stavingo) is really in disguise, he carries a PGA Tour Card in is wallet.

$83 for PV1's ? That's pure . The most I've paid for them is $42. With my PGA Tour Partners Club Card, I can receive $5 off a dozen, now down to $37, pretty good price. B330's are running $44 on the average around here. Card brings them down to $39.

Hint hint wifey .... Christmas item 💡

I get employee discounts on everything else except for golf balls at the course I work at. If I want to regrip my clubs, I can do them myself for the price of the grip alone. I get spikes for free too.

Uh, no, but I'm sure you will give us your honest evaluation of them. ;) Seriously, let us know. Thanks.

Good luck with them. 👍

yes I have, slighty better then the normal B330, but harder to hit straight if I remember right,

Well I'll try one out tomorrow and I'll give you guys an evaluation :)

Alright shot 12 over with the B330 RX, only difference I can tell is that the ball shapes more when you try to hit a draw/slice and also more driver distance but maybe a little less backspin.

How were they with gap, sand, pitching and 60 degree wedge shots ? Good short game balls ?

the B330 RX-S is the spin version of the ball, its the one I prefer, I do put a lot of spin on a ball with a 7-SW club, something like 21,000RPM of spin if I remember right, I'd rather go down a club with a mega hit then finesse the club that I should use, that way your more confident of getting over that green side bunker, I usually but balls to the back of the green and spin them back to the pin, with lob shots you get a better read of the green behaviour particularly any direct or left/right brake,

The RX-S is referred to as the "old man ball" at my club  I use the B330-S because it has optimal short game feel. I usually hit 7-11 greens in a round, so I have to chip a lot.

 there's so many acronym's for this ball, the RX-S is the soft feel version isn't it? so yeah I would use the B330 S the highest spin version,

But I still prefer the Wilson Staff FG Tour X ball, its a little hard but it has to be by far the longest ball available.

I think I prefer just the normal B330

I'll use up all my RX's before I get into that short supply of balls :P

Edit: Chose the worst day to go out to the Aussie open, they've suspended play until 3 :(

Not much golf being played right now. It's really cold right now.

Total opposite over here, we pretty much have 2 months of summer here, playing off 8 now and hoping to drop another shot or 2 before I go to university.

There is no golf being played anywhere around here. It's cold and to add to it, there is about 6" of the fluffy stuff on the ground.

Things on the PGA Tour are heating up though. The Hyundai Tournament of Champions is taking place in Hawaii at the Plantation Course, Kapalua, Maui. Next week will be the Sony Open, Waialae Country Club, Honolulu.

So, who do you like this year ?
Do you think we will see any first time winners on the tour this year ?
Is someone going to win their 1st ever major this year ?

professional golf, I think the heavy hitter's will maintain their position up top, hopefully big bad bubba win another major,

as for myself, just about to go for a 9, maybe 12, its been 3 months since I picked up a stick,

I predict Dustin Johnson wins a major this year. He is overdue.

I agree 👍

Down to 8 and I'm playing a tournament this week but going terrible this far but the courses are nice, with some flags coming off ill probably hop back up to doubles.
