Yeah, I wish I kept track of the LPGA more, it isn't that bad to watch haha and as a bonus for a bloke some of the women are hot! :D

I shot 83 today. Not bad considering I had 3 doubles. My short iron play could use a little improvement.

I managed to squeeze in 9 before twilight yesterday. I shot 42 with 4 pars, 4 bogeys, and a double.

Have you guys heard the rumor that Tiger may be going to the European tour?

Wow, seems interesting but I can understand his viewpoint I guess.

He can't win in America, so he will try in Europe  I'm pretty sure he won't perform any better in Europe. The European tour's talent level is just as good as the PGA tour's talent level.

Yeah that's true haha, maybe he wants a change of scenery :P

Oh yeah my handicap on golflink has been acting strange lately, checked earlier this week to see my exact was 10.5, I look at it this morning and find it's 10.9 with 2-3 of my best rounds magically disappearing, wonderful...

Anyone else that has an aussie golflink handicap experiencing this problem or is it just me?

I shot 85 today with 2 birdies. I ended up +2 for the day because of the birdies. *knocks on wood* I'm now on a 3-dogfight win streak :)

Nice score 👍

Can't wait until my exams are over to get back into the golf again, then I have the whole summer to try and get down to singles.

That's got to be awesome. It's getting colder by the day in America.

Yeah it's pretty good but my only concern is how dry the fairway gets at my local course, if the grass becomes dead you won't have any fun trying to hit a wedge from 100 metres or so.

My course was fortunate to have gotten plenty of rain during the summer. That way, the fairways and greens stayed alive.

Yeah hopefully my course does the same, depends on the frequency of hot days and storms on course down under, along with how much rainwater the course gets.

The only drawback to having luscious fairways and greens is that the ruff is thicker than cold molasses.

Yep, the rains are here, it's cold and damp, you just can't break that chill. My clubs are cleaned and stashed away for the Fall / Winter season. One thing that bugs the hell outta me playing golf in the Fall Season ... you hit that perfect drive, and you still have to look for it (leaf cover :grumpy:), course management applies here. Don't even think think of hitting the long stuff. Drop and hit :ouch:.

Last golf outing was this one. Play for Peach ... LINK. An annual 4 man golf scramble held as a benefit for Miranda. We came in at (-3) this year .... horrible score, just horrible, winners were at (-16). But we had fun, that's what it was all about.

I'm still playing because living in Alabama, I have another month where the highs will still be at least in the 60s every day. I don't have the fall leaf problem either  because most of the trees on my course are pine trees  Lots of pine cones though.

I'm just lucky that the worst I have to experience in winter is heavy rain

Along with the fact I don't have to deal with leaf cover either, thank goodness for gum trees

Lucky you :P. That makes me want to really play golf in Australia one day. I will have to add Australia to Scotland as places I want to go and play golf.
