I guess I make my debut in the XBOX 360 forums talking about PGR3.
I don't remember playing the first PGR game, but I wished it was a PS2 and XBOX game, but it's XBOX exclusive. Who wouldn't want to race a Ferrari F50 around Tokyo? My PGR2 experience came from a demo. The demo included a Nissan Skyline around Yokohama, a Ferrari Dino around Fiorano, and a 1971 (?) Pontiac Trans-Am around a Chicago course with cones around.
PGR3 (I'll admit) looks pretty nice. With my PGR experience, I noted that the game is kind of like a "Dance Dance Revolution" in the sense of finding a rhythm in the race. Go for speed, you get ahead in the rank. Go for style, you lose time, but look good speedfreaking around town. This game looks to improve from where PGR2 left off. It is a nice-looking game that I think even Gran Turismo fans have to appreciate.
You can't talk about any big XBOX game if you don't discuss XBOX Live. And if G4/IGN has any indication, you'll be looking at big money winners for PGR3. As that Kevin P. dude jokingly asked, "could this be the start of professional XBOX Live gamers?" Shoot... if the highest prize is up to $1,000,000, I'm sure gamers will want to rack up money like PGA golfers. This is going to be big... no wait, understatement. It's going to be MASSIVE for XBOX racers. And if you don't like PGR3, you can always load up PGR2 on the 360, since it's reverse-compatible with old XBOX games.
