GT5 MIGHT be the best looking racer on the next gen, I'm not counting out Forza 2 or any other racing game that might not have been announced or anything like that. I just find it stupid to say it will be the best looking when all you have to go on is rendered pictures and a rendered video. You can't prove it, so quit saying it.

played the full game. its good. way better than the underground games. but it's no PGR...

oh did anyone use the track editor yet? one of the best new things about the game!

and the SLR mclaren exhaust note.

Used the SLR today for the first time, I think its the best in its class if not #2. Very awesome. I havent used the track editor at all yet. Make a track, lets race on it.

EDIT somehow I missed near 2 pages of posts .Anyways. GT4 was the best looking game on PS2 hardware, which was extremely inferior to Xbox (and especially X36) hardware. When PD gets their hands on PS3, they will make an amazing looking game, MOST LIKELY. Not necessarily for sure, but it's extremely likely.

A car model for GT5 is not "rendered". It was created using PS3 hardware, and the video is on PS3 hardware, it wasn't "rendered" it is a working in game model, they only showed us two.

GT5 will almost definately get a GT3 treatment, in which case we will see fewer cars than we saw in GT4, however with greater detail and damage.

But please, don't kid yourself, you don't even understand what YOU are saying, let alone try to convince me otherwise.

I would think so considering, according to a pamphlet and other news I've heard, that the X360 could stream info off and into your PC.

While I agree with all your other points, this is silly. The developers of PGR THEMSELVES admit PGR hasn't been designed to be an accurate simulation of car physics, compared to something like GTR.

Then again even if you have played it, you wouldn't know what to look for as far as the vehicle reacting to different situations, because you have zero real world experience.

Because I KNOW an F50 (regular) will not do 0-60 in 2.7 seconds and I KNOW that a 360 Modena will not do it in about 3.6. I also KNOW that a Volvo XC90 does not seem to brake as well as the aforementioned 360.

PGR3 is great!

I have 16 trophies (silver medals, will try harder later! ), 110,000+ kudos and 14 cars so far. Graphics are stunning and the 360 hasn't crashed once.
