Played PGR3 in my local gamestation today.
First off they didnt have it set up right as it had many many jagged edges and lines. Been reassured its just the gamestation set up though
.
Anyway, first thing i did was press A, put me in a race in a Lambo Gallardo on a New York track, switched to the in car view, and my fooking word, slightly amazing or what? I think i was on easy difficulty as i shot off the line into the lead and stayed there throughout the 2 laps, flying across the brooklyn bridge at 180mph while checking your rear view mirror is something that cant be matched, especially with them graphics, and when you go through that tunnel like section and you go back into the outside it really is blinding.
So after the excitement of a race i decided to test drive the Ariel Atom, that is one nimble little car, very quick but oh so fun!
My third race was in single race mode, nurburgring GP in a Mclaren F1 GTR against an Enzo, again it was on Easy mode so i absolutely hammered it over 1 lap winning by 30 seconds. The central position is very very cool and you can look down and see your feet working the pedals, awsome stuff.
Last but not least was the big one, chose the RUF R turbo and headed onto the Behemoth, it is so cool going from the nurburgring GP onto the nordschleife, and the nordschleife just looks sensational, you can tell the game is arcade because of the speed you can fly round the turns but its oh so fun, and the dirt marks on the windowscreen look brilliant.
Little things as well like the vibration feels brilliant, the in car views sense of speed is sensational, and when you spin, the blurred effects look awsome, same as wehn you look out te side windows.
I only played it for about 30 minutes in th shop, but i can safely at this stage give it a 9 out of 10. Only not giving it a 10 because i was only on Easy and i wanna know how hard the AI can really be. 👍

AI's pretty hard. its a lot more challenging and constant then GT4's.
As for online play, i'm in Rank6 right now... but i only play for about an hour every so days. its usually fun but there are a lot of 'pillups' in the first corners, and also, there's the usual ass* who just bang in everyone... i so wish for fatal car damage and some kind of yellow/black flags...

Same, I actually told BC I was surprised it wasn't included, seeing as it is the 'titan' of top speed (PGR3's new emphasis, sort of)
