So is there a race schedule?
Also, if the car has a TCS or ASM system, does that mean we have to turn it on in GT5? Or since the car may give you the option of shutting it off, can we drive without it?
I like your dedication to realism, I just really can't drive with ASM or especially TCS on.
I love the tire selection too, it's really cool that you have figured out that most of the cars in GT5 shouldn't come with sports hard tires. Have you done any skid pad comparisons for race cars?
Exactly just as in real life you can turn it off on depending on your skills and mood! In pro events Assist are not allowed. But to get into pro events you have to show what it takes By obtaining pro license! I am still under construction with this, but hit me up on the PSN. A few members and I do mock up races all the time please come join us!

Active Handling System and Competitive driving are Assist Chevrolet uses to keep the car stable during hard driving conditions. In PGTR/GT5 they would be equal to the assist, ASM, TSC, ABS.
Event Regulations
-All vehicles must be stock
-No mic unless PGTR Rep
-No Pit entry Once damaged, car stays damage.
-More than 2 tires off the track will result in an invalid lap
-Times are only official once given notice through a PM
-Times are only official once the driver puts their car online immediately for inspection
-No Skid Recovery
-No Active steering
-No driving line
-Full damage
-Grip Reduction on Wet Track/Track Edge track conditions
-Tire Wear and Fuel Consumption On
Track Day Regulations
This track day will start as a Time attack ending with a 3 lap race. Drivers are expected to drive clean and safe. This track day will be held in the "start race" format, there will be a total of 9 laps. During the event drivers are expected to switch between three driving assist modes Competitive Driving ON AHS ON= (ASM ON TCS OFF ABS 2) Competitive Drive On AHS OFF= ( ASM OFF TCS OFF ABS 1) Competitive Driving OFF AHS OFF = (ASM OFF TCS OFF ABS OFF)
Free Run will determine the grid order you will have to drive with AHS ON= (ASM ON) (TCS 2) (ABS 2) Once your three laps are done drivers must exit race put the ZR1 In Competitive Drive and turn off the AHS and return to the pits.
Lap:1-2 Time Attack Competitive Drive On AHS OFF= ( ASM OFF TCS OFF ABS 1)
Lap:3 Cool down "60 mph max, switch assist"/Restart Time attack "at last Hairpin"
Lap:4-5 Time Attack Competitive Driving OFF AHS OFF= (ASM OFF TCS OFF ABS OFF)
Lap:6 Cool down "60 mph max switch assist"/Race starts at starting grid same position as Time Attack Lap 1-2
Lap:7-9 Chevrolet ZR1 race Competitive Drive On AHS OFF= (ASM OFF TCS OFF ABS 1)
If a driver fails to stay on the track he or she must give any drivers behind them clear space to pass. If a driver damages their vehicle they must find a wide space off the track until the race is over. If a driver is found cheating they are automatically disqualified.
I did this with my family because I had no souls to join on the Planet.
It was fun as hell though to see them duke it out.
