Phoenix Plane Crash with Video

This just happened within the last hour or two. I can see that whole mountain from where I am currently living, however I couldn't see fire or anything since we are still about 15-20 miles from there.

The news right now is saying it was a small aircraft with 6 people on board, including the pilot, a mechanic, another adult, and 3 children. They had to helicopter the rescue crew in there because hiking to that location would have taken about 5 hours.

So far they have found one of the children and are still searching.

Ooooo, controlled flight into terrain, my favorite!

A plane that big flying at night was most likely on an IFR flight plan. All he'd have to do is stick to whatever assigned altitude. A problem arises when you input the wrong air pressure setting into the altimeter and there are mountains around that you can't see because it's dark. That's the most obvious mistake that might be a factor in this crash.
