edit: update :)

I think CF hood pattern blend in the wrong way (at right top)
anyhow ... good job on the lambo door
I think we have very similar modding idea
last night I was thinking to make a Civic wagon with lambo door
funny to see you got them separately on 2 photos
I guess I will go for pickup truck style or something different then

I had another idea ... Miata Speedboat ... :D

how do i know which way cf patterns are meant to go?

hehe, yea, the typical ricer init, lambo doors :P

am thinking of adding neons on it, hmm but it doesnt look right :embarrassed: am gonna give this a 2 tone colour aswell :D and also, i wanna make the headlights look more ricey, got any pics? or sud i jst add some eyelids?

The CF pettern are supposed to be linear
so it should be 45 degree everywhere (respect to the car)
but the right top I mentioned ... it is almost like vertical
you know what I mean ... anyway ... I just being picky on things sometimes
I guess XCNuse will be even pickier ... haven't seen him in a while

I don't have any source of real photos
need time to search for some when I need them
but most likely I ended up with brushes

hiya everyone, ive been browsing these forums before, but never really had a reason to join..
s2000lover told me about what was goin on here, since i didnt see it in my browsing days...anyways, im pretty average at pshop, so this civic rice-up looks like fun =)

anyways, heres a pic I did before.

whatcha think?

ive got the civic saved...ill get to work on it whenever i have free time :)

hehe for 1 sec i thought that was mine :P

the only bad things are the doors, are err got some ruff edges
the mirrior on the cars right side seems abit weird, and the wheels needs to be bigger, coz the car looks like its floating :) and inside the door, its abit plain, looks like it was jst cut out :embarrassed:

btw, dont take any of these comments offensive, im jst saying what i think of it, and u can change it if u want :) same with mine, if theres something u dont like about it, please tell me so i can change it :) :ouch: :scared: :indiff:

hehe yeah i know its littered full of mistakes and such... ill probably leave the doors closed in a later update and fix whatever you mentioned that I can.

those doors are hard :P

yeah i might give it a try when im in the mood to continue on the project :P

I checked out that CF tut and, honestly - since ive used it before - I dont think it produces visually...

I probably did it wrong though...
I just use a CF tile pattern I found on the net in 3 different sizes.

also, that whole select the hood, ctrl+shift+I, delete isn't conventional to me...

I use select hood, right click -> layer via copy, place the cf pattern over, hold ALT and click inbetween the CF pattern and the hood.

masking is what it's called i believe...

You wanted me to post in here so here you go. There are not any convertible 69 Camaros in GT4 so here is my first attempt at it.
alll alone-------------------1 driver--------------------1 driver and 1 passenger

looks great S2K!!
I will work on my EK soon ...
here is the Scion xB I made for magazine cover comp
the xB is very low res and low poly
it needs some fix to make it look better
sorry I know its not body kits ....

woa, thats sick!!! :D

nice one! wll the title also says upgrades so.. basically anything :D did u make the open lid urself?
I made the hatch door myself
just a quick job ... I can add more detail if I have more time

I'm no GOD like S2000, but I think I'm pretty good in Photoshop.

Added:
Carbon Fiber Hood, Vertical Door, Interior, Lighting Effects to brighten the whole picture, side skirt (full body kit took too long and it's already 12:36 a.m. here) and new rims!! tell me what you think... Maybe I'll finish the Veilside body kit later on. And the position that it's at you should be able to see inside the car, I even added the row of back seats.

looks good ... my only comment is
... the seat doesn't go horizontal
it looks like 40 degrees above the ground point of view
maybe I am wrong

lookin nice, i like the inside, bt it seems to be in a odd postition :embarrassed:

well that was my first time trying a lambo door conversion, hopefully my 2nd try will be much better :)

Thanks guys, like I said I'm not S2000 when it comes to Photoshop, but I can do my fair share. I was looking around for some lambo door tutorials, because your doors look authentic and all but I still like my work too :D, I don't know what you mean by the position of the inside being odd...
