Random pick-ups i saw at a local car meet last month. Not sure if I'm allowed here or should i go to the spotting thread.

A small group of classic GM trucks, mostly from the UAE.

A Y60 Patrol Pick-up, also from the UAE

Some OBS Chevy's from Bahrain.

More modern Chevys & GMCs, owners from either Bahrain or Saudi Arabia:

An imported USDM Tacoma from Oman.

Non-participating trucks:

A '92 Hilux (based on the decals), typical work truck in Bahrain.

A Qatari's Heavy Duty Sierra. Heavy duty trucks are fairly uncommon in Bahrain nowadays. Not sure about the rest of the Gulf.

A TRX! As of December 1st, 2022, only 12 TRXs were allocated to Bahrain. That seems a lot for a small island that no one really offroads at all but it's nothing compared to the literal hundreds that they have sent to UAE and Qatar.

A 92' or 93' Nissan Pick-up (D21), the other 90s Japanese pick-up in Bahrain.

Bonus: a relatively clean '04 Hilux with a 3RZ.

So yeah, nothing fancy here.

Dodge trucks from the Birth years of my family members
What a great idea, but since I come from a Ford family, here's mine:

Always had a weird soft spot for full size single cab, short bed pickups. I know some have been posted here, but here's a few more. I find myself ecstatic to see (what I call) a shorty pickup on the road.

I find the current Silverado a bit ugly, but the configuration of this one intrigues me. Especially as we don't get it in the United States.

Or this short F-150 Raptor test mule.

TIFO:

For God knows what reason, GM offered the 8.1L (496 cubic inch) big block V8 in the Chevy Avalanche for the 2500 model. None of that makes any sense considering that was a lifestyle vehicle.

It’s TIFO for me, too. That’s a lot of engine. Probably gets 10 mpg.
