Hey guys, just to serve as general awareness, I stepped down as chief steward not too long ago because I am no longer doing much [if any] gaming on Playstation. So with that it is no longer necessary to add me into any IR conversations moving forward. @Xradkins @HazardLvL4 & @Alex ONeill will continue to handle all IR's filed. Thanks. 👍

PITS 2 League Statement:

Good Morning All,

Yesterday was a rough race for some folks, and this season has been rough as a whole for others. This has been due to a few factors, I believe:

1. Overall, there are a lot of new drivers in this league who are not used to racing around each other. Meaning we are not comfortable with how each other drives yet, which may lead to misinterpretation of a situation leading to an incident.

2. Drivers are being too aggressive or making egregious mistakes on the opening laps and turns of the race.

3. Running all new tracks that we have minimal track time on compared to the older tracks we ran for years in PCars 1.

4. Still coming to grips with the new braking & tire model, and LiveTrack 3.0.

These are just some of what stands out to me. Now, I know there are still glitches in PCars 2 that are making the experience frustrating and are only compounding our on track incidents. Those are out of our leagues control and will be hopefully patched out soon. However, as for the issues in our control, we ALL, myself included, need to make an effort to improve. There is a very large spectrum of skill level in this league, and we have to remember that. We have drivers that are world class fast, and others who are more novice, and both groups need to respect each other on track. Yes, this is a serious league, but only in terms of immersion into the game. I do not want drivers pointing fingers and yelling at each other on or off the track about a video game. None of us are professional drivers, and need to remember we are a group of guys who love racing and want to have fun. So, the take away here is, take a breath, remember this is just a Sunday Funday event, and that we are all friends. Lastly, if you do have a problem on track please bring it to the stewards to review, don't take it out on each other.

*PS - This week will be Sugo with light rain conditions, please make sure to run some practice in the wet before Sunday!

Best Regards,

-Haz

The car is pretty unforgiving when you make a mistake too. If the rear let's go, it's tough to get it back. Hopefully next week goes better. I'd like to finish a race this season without someone rearranging my cars body panels.

Hi Guys,

thanks for allowing me to race with you last Sunday. Really enjoyed it. Never had participated in any organized racing before.

Looking forward to more races in the future.

I won't be around the next two weeks, going on vacation with the wife.

Enjoy
CB

See you in a couple weeks, enjoy your vacation!!

Rumor has it that Sugo is glitchy. I will be testing some there tonight to confirm these statements. If it is as glitchy as I am hearing then the directors will be sending out information tomorrow for a change of track for this weekend's upcoming race. Time/date/ and weather will all remain the same.

I'll be testing tonight, too. Send out and invite and more of us can help you find the holes. LOL

Apparently it’s called a “world movement bug” Phillips and I were testing last night and he was getting it at two parts of the track. I wasn’t able to see it. It might be the difference between PS4 and PS4 Pro.

We have a new championship leader this week as Onspace has moved into the #1 spot after race 2!

Changes to car and track selection process

Championship Prizes:

1st - Choice of car or class
2nd - 5th - Choice of track

  • (Each driver is only able to win the choice of car every other season. In the event we have the same driver take 1st in the season twice in a row, car choice will go to 2nd place and that driver will be able to make a track selection for the season.)

Just curious guys, do you know if you're going to switch days when the Sunday night SNAIL league starts up in GTSport? Anything of note worth mentioning yet or it's all still being talked about?

There is a lot of discussion going on behind the scenes right now, and will give an update once we have concrete information to give.
So what is your take on the track glitch for this Sunday. That 'warp speed' glitch between turns 10 and 11 is manageable, if you're ready for it. Still turn 11 really is no place to be passing anyway. However, someone will be sent off into the sand trap because of it for sure.

OOPS! I finally see the track announcement earlier. Fuji it is. thanks.

IMHO, the more bugs and glitches we can avoid, the better. The first week was already trouble with the little bugs. The tire pressure one totally affected the second half of my races, and someone had a DNF because their car overheated in the pits.

Has anyone tested out Fuji to make sure it's clean as can be? I'll get some laps in there tomorrow night. I'm kind of glad we switched to a track I'm more familiar with too. Hopefully the change to a wide, more forgiving track makes space for everyone as well.
