I'm ready. Did a little practice session at Snetterton earlier (we went to a baseball game last night, I forgot about it...
).Got the DSG service done on the wife's Vdub and settled in for a little PCars 2 and MotoGP 19 - watching the DXC Tech 600 at Texas, Indy Cars.
But yes @Stanc03 , ready to run some Vulcan action.

Got wired connection this evening instead of having to rely on Wi-Fi at the new apartment. The internet is actually better than I thought.
So I should be back on on Thursday coming....so watch out....Fast car coming through. Yippee yai yeh Yippee yai you. Happy as pappy. *Does the happy dance*

Lord put a hand. Rain should be outlawed in racing.@davidt33 while not official, it's looking like some wetness will be going on this Thursday. However, these cars work really well (better than on slicks actually) on the WET tires, er, tyres. . .

It's gonna be a wet one for both races it seems like it's raining all week. But if anything it's gonna be raining on and off.
And I still can't belive no one is showing up to drive this car.
It's funny... in England, it's "chucking buckets" outside in a light drizzle, and the rain accumulation is 0.2 of an inch in 24 hours
... Last Thursday we had a REAL thunderstorm roll through that dumped almost 4 inches of rain in less than an hour... flooded a rent house I have. 
I have family that live in Leicester, and it cracks me up: when we were there in July they were on about how hot it was... it got close to 90F a couple of times. No, not over 90, just close. I've went and rode my KX450 when it was over 105F - that was hot. 87 is not hot, 87 is freakin' perfect!! But in England, people are dying when it gets to 90F. 
I know a lot don't have A/C... get it, you can buy window units. [/rant]Looking forward to Snetterton tomorrow.

Oh boy. Looks like I won't be able to rejoin y'all tomorrow after all.
First time got a chance to connect the wheel this evening to do some practice and whatever. Connected wheel, pedals etc, powered on wheel, connected fine, launched PS4, game, went to Practice session, choose car, track etc etc.
Thing is sometime in-between doing that and actual practice on track I was getting intermittent "Controller Disconnected.....Reconnect again....". And of course when that happened lost control of the wheel. Restart console, game etc and the issue would repeat. After a while I just gave up.
I don't know if it could be as a result of power spikes and/or overload from the wall's electrical power outlet as everything is connected to the main one 2-female power outlet. (BTW, I have a 6-plug thing-a-mi-jig plugged into that in order to get additional outlets to plug the additional accessories I have, of which they are plugged in to a line conditioner with 5 female ports and two power surge/UPSs...each of which has additional females to plug into as needed.
Every so often I hear a "click click" sound from one of the UPSs indicating a spike and the LED is lit on "Power Overload".
So could it be when a spike happens it could cause the drop in the wheel "controller" connection?
Perhaps our in-house tech guru @yogi bear could shed some light or anyone else?

If any of you yaHoo's here are interested in MotoGP 19 (the game) it's a pretty good game. So far anyway. Have completed the Red Bull Rookies Cup and started Moto3, two races in. There is a lot to do as well, RBR Cup, Moto3, Moto2, and MotoGP (career & ind championships), also MotoE and Historical bikes and riders in the form of Historical Challenges (think Codies F1 game). The game is a vast improvement over MotoGP 18, which was a pretty good game in itself... The graphics and gameplay have improved across the board - really enjoying it so far.

I'm still playing 2017 or 16 I think lol I just finish the rookie career and is making my into moto gp. '17 was a good game, it had the Managerial Career in it - loved that mode, '16 I didn't care for much, it was the Valentino Rossi The Game iteration. If you can find MotoGP 15 cheap, I think it's the best one until MotoGP 19. This one is great; graphics, sounds, and control are really good. It's not PCars 2 level of immersion, but it's a really good game if'n you like MotoGP.
I still have the Climax MotoGP games (and Xbox) on my orig Xbox.
