BTW I think I may have some good news. Since replacing the Fanatec's USB cable last Wednesday I been able to do some practice sessions....not much but including a good couple laps. Also did some racing on Dirt 4 too today to further test. Haven't experienced any disconnections so it seems the culprit may have fruity well had been the original USB cable had gotten a little ding or whatever in transit. Keeping fingers crossed the disconnection issue is no more. We'll see on Thursday night when Alex joins us.

Yea consoles were the cheaper alternative. Now its just a alternative. Not the best one at that and apparently to run our sims properly we need alot more everything then what a console can provide. Not feeling the buy a new wheel every new console or getting 75 percent of a game because the console cant handle it.

Thanks man!Really enjoyed @sgohsixthree GT3 race last night - prob my favorite class of cars (well, the GTE's really), but I love these older LMP cars. Plus, you can see out of them, unlike some of the Gr.C cars.
