Agree with @ONESPACE & @Alex ONeill here. I think your issues are directly related to NOT having your wheel plugged directly into the PS4 usb, and the External HD. . . Just my 0.02. Get it sorted though, dude, we need you back!

Wired is the only way to go. All the way from the pole, to your modem.

Yup. Internet is wired for sure and confirmed. Only way to go.

When I tried it with the wheel's USB plugged directly to the PS4's USB it still disconnected. This at approx 86 mins in-game with just 4 mins to go.
And thanks, I really want things to get sorted out ASAP to get back. Still keeping fingers crossed otherwise that will be the end for me. We'll see what happens with the replacement of the wheelbase's USB A-B cable next week. May the force be with me.

Yeah I saw that too. Once I can get my wheel issue resolved I'll definitely be getting it whenever it's released. Doesn't look like it may be released for a while though.

But keep in mind this is the same studio that made nfs pro street so if they have any of those cad data still they should prob use it. They also said they merged with a new studio (I hope it's milestone) so that should bring things up to speed. I'm not gonna hold my breath though cause once grid drops this winter I might take a break from pcars

I need some fun pick up and race game with real consequences lol.
Tired of tuning for hours when all the base setups should've been fast asf out the box. Just adjust tire pressure. Final gear and down force and go

Turns 5 & 6 are tough, and 9-10 (The Carousel) is a booger-bear. [<--- I don't think I have ever got to use that phrase as an adult ]

I do love the change of elevation on this track, especially coming back onto the start/finish straight - climbing the hill. One day soon I'm gonna go to a race there. Would like to watch the bikes there. 👍

I'm about fiddy miles from RA, never been there o to any

race anywhere, would like to camp up there for a weekend.

Just an update. In the process of elimination period I got the USB A-B cable I ordered from Amazon delivered yesterday to replace the Fanatec CSL Elite original USB A-B cable in order to test and see if that was the culprit for my intermittent disconnection issues (this was one of the possibilities proffered). All connections hooked up via same as previous: External storage drive direct to PS4 USB port 1....Headphone basestation and new USB A-B cable to USB hub which is connected to the next available PS4 USB.

Did some testing this morning via practice session for approx 1/2 - 3/4 of an hour (over 10 laps) and didn't experience any disconnection/s. So keeping fingers crossed and hoping for the best. I guess the real test will be during race session tonight. May the force be with me. See you guys later.

Just curious. Do you stream whilst racing online. If so, maybe the culprit. And maybe something to chew on.
