Hi guys Ive just got a bluetooth mouse and it connects to the ps4, and registered it but I cant use it with anything, even the web browser has a pointer but the mouse does nothing, do i need to do anything else.

Prices for PS Plus are going up in Europe, starting from 31/08/2017. They will be as following:

- 12-month subscription will go up from €49,99 to €59,99;
- 3-month subscription will go up from €19,99 to €24,99;
- 1-month subscription will go up from €6,99 to €7,99.

I don't have any link to a source; I've just received an email from Sony.

That's a big hike. Will there be an improvement in the monthly games? They're normally dross, though next month's Just Cause 3 and AC Freedom Cry aren't too bad.

It's not just online though now. PS+ has grown. It is loads of extra games that get additional discount if on PS +. I have saved quite a bit. The free games are now big titles as well. I think it's not bad value £4.08 per month (if you pay one fee). For the extras. But maybe they should have an option for online only and no discounts or free games?

P.s if you renew before Aug 31 it says you won't pay new prices. So I might look to buy it before etc

Where I'm getting at is that I think the subject of upping the quality of the games may have already been addressed - question now is more if they'll maintain that quality.

The games were uninteresting to me and my friends for a good while until this months and now next month.

There are some good savings to be had but I'd rather not pay for PSN and just pay for the games. I've bought 2 or 3 games about a month before they were free on PSN so I'm not convinced I'm getting value, now when I want to buy a game I'm hesitant because I think of the possibility of it being free. Alien invasion, Everybody's gone to the Rapture were the 2 recent games I bought a month before going free.

like the PS3 had. This is the best solution, I really don't like feeling like I have been suckered into being forced to pay for PSN. Before anyone says I'm not being forced, yes that's is true but groomed me into it. This is the generation where it ends though.

A 25% increase is pretty steep. I had let mine lapse and was going to buy it again when GTS released. Now have to make the decision to buy before the price goes up or just wait until GTS release and pay the higher price.

I'm certainly not disputing the potential value of PS Plus as a service. The free games, themes and so on is great, and I have no problem with Sony offering such things for a recurring subscription. What I do have a problem with, is locking away content in games that we've paid for, because you need PS Plus to use that content.

I see, Ideally then for them to include any online in the initial cost of a game. So to play online is Free but if you want to pay PS+ sub you pay for the discounts/free games. They would probably increase the price of games though

Well, that's a blow. I rarely download any of the free games, and don't use the PS+ discounts to purchase any content, and to learn I have to pay an additional £10 per annum is a step too far.
I suppose that's the end of my time with PlayStation then !

Why are you making this about the UK, when the prices went up for the whole of Europe? Or am I missing something?

Thank for the heads up, I've had Just Cause 3 (and all the DLC from the season pass) for ages, but I'm looking forward to giving A Creed a try. For some reason it's a series that I've just not got round to playing, I might find myself with a backlog to catch up on

Free space shouldn't be the issue as I've just completed the update without any problems and have less free space than that.

I don't know what the problem was, it just wouldn't update even after restarting the PS4. I just left it and played a game for 10 minutes then it updated without issue.

Just a heads up 👍 Ubisoft offering a Free Demo (5 Hours worth) PS4 & Xbox One - I haven't tried this game but it got good reviews. Worth a try?

Probably gonna miss JC3. it seems it runs terribly. PS plus games have been a lot better this year. Ratchet and life is strange were amazing. Not liking Killzone at all so far.
