The increase in resolution is noticeable in the vast majority of games I tested, but it’s not immediately striking. Have followed this with interest but based on all these it's as I expected really, just not quite the real-world upgrade that would justify the price, especially given my modest TV setup. Xbox One was a weedy thing that really struggled against base PS4 - Xbox One X was such a massive improvement. That's the only time I've ever bought an upgraded console so far and I don't see anything here to change that yet.
