They really messed this up. Plus they'll probably think this means no one wants old stuff. At least sell ps1 games digitally like last gen.

Handheld no more. It seems Sony definitely believes in the saying 'either it's my way or the highway' when they made this console.

Sony have always been like that, right down to shutting game services down to force you onto the next instalment (GT5/GT6), then there's the absolute crap sales you get regarding PS3 games compared to PS4 games on PSN, I mean who is going to pay £50 for a PS3 game now? Just drop all PS3 prices.

This thing would have been killer is they made it right.

  • Full HD 720 / 1080 60fps
  • All NTSC games
  • More games (Including Tested List)
  • PGXP-PCSXR Plugin (Polygonal Grid / Texture warp fix)
  • Dualshock 3/4 Compatability
That would have been worth $100, not something which performs worse than a PS1!
Agreed, even though I don't know much about that plugin. Fortunately DS4 compatibility is something we will get.

At this point the only thing left for me is I wish the Classic had a way to make it 16:9 and maybe even up the resolution to least 1080P or better. Once this is achieved, I may consider it.

Or even better, make those games free since the console system is already superseded by a better and more powerful one. I don't want to compare but if you know Steam for PC, you'll see a lot of new games being free to get and play, although the older ones aren't free or like that. Still, it's better than some old games you can get in PSN for a crappy price.
