Battles, trading and more Pokemon are coming, it's still very early days yet.Why would I want to go outside and catch virtual stickers of Pokemon when I can just pop in a cartridge and enjoy the air conditioner while I kick ass and take names? (im joking, but Pokemon Go is kinda silly, it really is just randomly placed stickers the way how i understand it)
I mean is there even fighting in Pokemon GO or is it basically just Snapchat-Pokemon filter?

Technically there is only 146 as none of the Legendary pokemon are released yet. There's only the original 150 now right?
So they really should call it Pokemon Go Alpha.
That's the thing. It gets people outside and it gets them walking around. I think this is just the start of a series of games that are similar in concept but with different themes. Why would I want to go outside and catch virtual stickers of Pokemon when I can just pop in a cartridge and enjoy the air conditioner while I kick ass and take names?

Well no because technically you can still get them.I thought it was like 142 due to the 4 regional Pokemon?

It would be cool to see more games encourage excercising, but I feel Pokémon would be the only one that works since it is reasonably interesting to walk. Having players walk in order to get more lives in an app is nowhere near as fun as actually catching a Pokémon.
When I take into account the fact that people all around the world are so passionate about the game that they will travel around to go find pokemon, reach poke stops and gyms, regardless if it's on safe land or trespassing private property, cause mayhem on the roads, and getting themselves mugged...
I think this game makes for some wonderful entertainment. And the news is doing a great job blowing up the story in the papers. The records the game is pulling off; number of players, sales, etc. will be the talk for a while. People getting themselves in trouble will create some noise around parts of the world. Journalists will have a great amount of material to work from, so they'll be keeping their jobs for a while.
I'm just waiting for more news drama to blame the game more.
How long before they have to throw a safety car when some Pokemon appears on a track and someone goes on track to get it?
It's fun until a kid run right in front of your car trying to get that Pokemon in the park infront without looking at traffic but his eyes stuck to his portable. I dont know I just find it too dangerous. There's already report of people following GPS blindly into a lake imagine what it could do with a game where you have to chase things.
Roads are dangerous?! What a revelation! You're taught at an incredibly young age in the Scottish education system to be extremely careful around roads. I'd assume other countries in the world also treat this as a very valuable lesson. At the end of the day, doing anything whilst crossing a road is too dangerous - Pokemon Go didn't start road safety being key to people's existence. It's fun until a kid run right in front of your car trying to get that Pokemon in the park infront without looking at traffic but his eyes stuck to his portable. Is there rarer pokemon that appear only at certain time or certain condition ?
Exactly what people were saying when Supercars posted this:How long before they have to throw a safety car when some Pokemon appears on a track and someone goes on track to get it?
You're taught to not drive into lakes too with a car, yet people managed it following their GPS ^^Roads are dangerous?! What a revelation! Maybe because its not a fitting Pokemon?Exactly what people were saying when Supercars posted this:
And then you get a bunch of negative comments as usual.

Not when pokemon are involved, then roads are just an obstacle between you and victory
Would you say Victory Road? Just an annoying obstacle in between you and the Final Four/Pokemon League.
