Not a Trump supporter, but he certainly has a point here:

Happened in Holland in 2002 when Pim Fortuyn was about to win the elections also. Although he was a populist the media demonized him until some nutjob went ahead and killed him.

Not only the media, his political opponents all joined in to demonise him.

So alongside being a massive liar, reinventor of history and security risk, Hilldog is also - in a truly shocking revelation - a simply awful person.

2016 should be a great year for third party candidates. No-one should be able to lose to both Drumpf and the female Tom Cruise.

You should have seen the pair when they were in Little Rock

I'll start a campaign for Johnson.

Who says I'm not thankful? I just don't want to have to do it in a place of worship is all.

There's jokes, and then there's just simply being an ass.

That's funny I could of sworn you dropped this, hence why I didn't respond to the post you sent me in the last page, but low and behold I turn the page and...go figure.

It seems to me that atheists want God removed from things more than theists want God added lol.

I liked Hun's post, if I did belong to a parish I would not want the silly worldly people in it either 👍

According to Gallup voter affiliation is much higher than for either party(42% vs 26% Rep and 29% Dem). It's been over 40% for five years. With those kinds of numbers there is no reason why anyone should feel like a third party or write-in vote is wasted. The numbers are there to upset the system.

The third party doesn't need to win. They just need to get 3% to get federal funding and full access. To really upset things they just need enough of the electorate to prevent a definitive majority (270 needed to win).

Small town, population ~50k. I think city hall is less than a mile from the polling location.
Same for Frankfort. We have 10 districts. You can drive across town in five minutes. I can smell the bourbon distillery that's two districts over. Also, your City Hall might not meet certain requirements.

Two reasons why it could be a church:

1) It always has been and no one has complained, or attempts to move it were met with complaints of disenfranchising voters who would suddenly be unable to find the new place.

2) It truly is the only place that is both available and meets the requirements within the physical range for that district.

I vote in a church. I've also voted in a convenience store and a volunteer firehouse. They just put them where they can.

Hell, I'd even get behind that loone Nader

If what FK says is true, and there is no reason to doubt him, the old Governor of NM fits the bill rather nicely imo.

Marco Rubio was delusional that he would win Florida. Everybody hates him down here. He hasn't done jack squat in the senate. Trump's money has done more for Floridians than any politician ever could.

The problem is that "he" shows up in places he shouldn't be. But that's for another thread.

Looking forward to the results tonight.

Read this about Rubio - The Florida senator said it was "not God’s plan that I be president on 2016".

What an astounding arrogance!

Sign of a champion, I look at it this way as a golfing guy, if I make a good shot, I made the shot, but if I make a bad shot? Well that is the caddies fault ;)

You know r16, sometimes you have to realize that being the only right(correct) guy in the room should tell you something. I happen to agree with you even, but you cannot see it.

I will edit, but I think swagger understood.

He did, he was being sarcastic and playing off your comments.

As for the election the poll data @mustafur that lead me to see Bernie getting the short end, seems to be right. But as you have stated after, because of the closed system. So in other words is does go to show that the status quo was maintained and will continue to be maintained. Good job dems you shot yourself in the foot, now we'll see how bad it turns out.

I thought his joke was quite funny :D

We are atm staring right down the barrel of another Clinton, what is all the nonsense of the lesser of two evils? Trump or Hillary? pls, I'm going full Johnson mode.

How will it be Trump? Republicans thwarted him in Ohio, it will most likely go to the RNC, and they'll pull bs tactics as per norm to make sure Cruz most likely gets the nomination. In doing such Clinton will have an easy road to the White House, and we will hear another 4 years of "how could we lose, we did everything right" or "no way Trump wouldn't have won the polls (made up numbers by them) told us he wouldn't win".
