Watching Obama speaking in Florida. Dotini notwithstanding, I have never seen a sitting President campaign as vigorously for his successor as Obama. And he is an amazing orator ... really amazing.
He is damn good. He'll be the next one going down with the ship.

If he isn't going to spend the bulk of his time working on the pardon list, he badly needs to be succeeded by a Democrat. And who would there be to absolve him and preserve his "legacy" of accomplishment? You can bet your sweet bippy he is motivated to save his own hide. Pleading at the 11th hour with blacks in Florida? That's desperation.

If the American people, consciously or not, vote a criminal into the presidency, it will be literally unprecedented and a stroke of ill omen for our republic.

You had suggested in a recent post that Obama was distancing himself from HRC. That is clearly not happening. Obama is working hard to secure his legacy & ensure that Trump doesn't get a chance to completely screw things up.

If the American people, consciously or not, vote a sociopath serial lier with the mind of a 8 years old into the presidency, it will be literally unprecedented and a stroke of ill omen for the american and the planet.

Thanks, but no thanks.

As we enter the closing week of this truly mind-boggling long & tortuous process, the fascinating question is: where would the polls stand if the Democrats had nominated Bernie Sanders ... or perhaps Joe Biden, & where would the polls be if the GOP had nominated Ted Cruz ... or Jeb Bush ... or Marco Rubio ... or John Kasich?

I've just realised that the election is actually held on November the 9th of our local time, or more shortly 9.11, which means that this election is going to be another very likely terrible 'nine-eleven' event to happen in the US.
Well Hillary was in NY on 9/11 so she would be beat qualified to handle another 9/11...oh wait...

I'm no fan of Hillary but that description is a little over the top. The sociopathic serial liar fits bit I'd say her mind is in the early 20''s at least. Agreed on the ill omen part though.

That description fits Hillary just as good (maybe even better)...

Sure.
This election is exposing mind versatility to such an extent that it may greatly help neuroscience:

Gary Johnson, instead of Ross Perot, is punching his pork pie hat.

Hey, that's Toronto!

...

Honestly, as someone with no opportunity to vote, but knowing either of them getting into power will affect me in numerous ways, both are terrifying in their own unique ways.

Trump is a giant manchild. He's reactionary, openly racist, and someone with a long history of screwing others over to benefit himself. He's got an ego the likes of which is usually seen in people named Kanye, and I can't imagine him trying to help anybody if it didn't suit his own personal goals. This is a man that's had companies go bankrupt six times. Who loses when he's not running a company, but an entire country? Yeah, he's unlike any of the corrupt, lying politicians we've seen before... but is that a good thing? A deadly tsunami isn't something I want to ever deal with, but I wouldn't exactly welcome a volcano forming in my backyard either.

Clinton's scary precisely because she's firmly in the typical political mould. She's had more time than most to learn the ropes of the system, and personally, I'm still unsure on what her stance truly is on just about anything. While Trump is almost embarrassingly public with every dim-witted thought of his, you get the feeling Hilary has more secrets than there is time to tell them. Much like Trump, I can't see her helping anybody just for the sake of it.

What are the limitations on write-ins, exactly? :(

Clearly it must be the Russians......

In the latest case, Jerry Mosna of San Pedro, Calif., reported to Fox News that while he was gardening outside his home on Saturday, he noted two stacks of 2016 ballots had been delivered, 83 ballots in all.

The ballots were addressed to multiple people who, according to the forms, were all living in a two-bedroom apartment that is home to his 89-year-old neighbor.

“I think this is spooky,” Mosna said. “All the different names, none we recognize, all at one address.”

“Eighty people can’t fit in that apartment.” added his wife, Madalena.

The Mosnas wanted an investigation. The Los Angeles Police Department sent them to the post office. Eventually they reached the Los Angeles County Registrar’s office, which has said it will investigate but is currently labeling the incident “an isolated situation related to a system error that occurred causing duplicate ballots to be issued to an address entered for a single voter.”

But neighbor John Cracchiolo, who helped the Mosnas get in touch with the authorities, is not so sure.

“Yes, there is voter fraud. We saw it with our own eyes,” Cracchiolo said.

Pro immigration, anti Putin, pro stricter gun laws, pro establishment and corruption is what i got from her so far.

Clinton continues to have eye (neurological) troubles.

.....several instances over the last few weeks, and as recently as last Friday, have been enough for doctors to publicly call on Clinton to undergo a full medical example and release the results.

Gianoli, who believes the condition could be the result of elevated pressure, which can cause other problems.

“It can lead to blindness, deafness, progressive vertigo/balance problems, seizures/stroke and continued problems with concentration, memory and ability to mentally focus,” he said.

“It could also lead to death if the lateral sinus thrombosis were to progress to include the opposite side.”

Sanders was polling +15 against Trump just before the Primary loss, give or take what would happen leading up to the general but he surely wouldn't have scandals like Hillary to bring it down.

Ted Cruz would probably be worse then Trump, he doesn't have the break the system appeal Trump has and he is a little too bible bashing to really get anywhere with independents.

They are regardless though, unless somehow a 3rd party wins.

I get that she's receiving ideological and financial support from the neocons and from the private prisons lobby (we already have more incarcerated per capita the any other country). Which means more wars against you, the world, and us the people of the United States, especially blacks, disproportionately incarcerated.

My dad said the same about a sitting president. He also said that a sitting president cannot campaign on the level he is for her. Can I get a fact check about that from someone? I don't even know where to begin searching.

There's a delicious irony (or excruciating, depending on your point of view) in the fact that right wing Republicans have been insisting for years that the way to win the White House is with a TRUE conservative ... like Cruz. What they ended up with is a candidate with a more or less "liberal" history, who seems to have adopted (some) ultra conservative positions more as matter of political expediency than anything else. This is a curve ball that has caught conservative Republicans completely by surprise.

It's hard to see how Biden could have lost to Trump, although Biden is renowned for gaffes, so anything might have happened in the course of the campaign. Sanders against Trump would have been interesting - it wouldn't have resembled in any way the present race. And ... it's not hard to imagine that someone like Kasich might have been a strong candidate against HRC.

That description fits Hillary just as good (maybe even better)...

Hillary Clinton's massive, profanity-laced meltdown directed at Matt Lauer is a perfect example of this. Hillary's molten A-bomb temper known to catastrophically erupt at any given time is well-known throughout the political world.

Trump is more vindictive and revengeful, he is sue-happy and that is precisely why I don't like Trump, he's no angel, but at the end of the day who is more likely to have someone killed for crossing them, Hillary or Donald? I think the answer is pretty obvious.
Of the two, Hillary by far and away scares me more, she is the true Sociopath, the elephant in the room.

I don't like Trump, I never have liked Trump, I find him to be a pompous, arrogant, ******re elitist, and I can't stand people who think they are better than everyone else. My wife used to watch the Apprentice and I would literally leave the room and go do something else because I simply couldn't stand watching the guy say "you're fired" or any other part of the show that featured him talking.

Quite.
