The Purple looks awesome with silver wheels!

But PTS (paint to sample) will be available for the later production run RS's... mexico blue for me please.
I've read an owner on Rennlist is already in line for one; gave up his early allocation for a PTS in the 2nd upcoming run. 👍

One name that hasn't been used in a while is SC. They could call it the 911SC. Or even...shudder....the 912.

I doubt they'll resurrect the 912 name again unless they offered the upcoming turbocharged flat-4 that's signaled for the Boxster and Cayman

They *could* revive SC-RS moniker. It still is one of the best sounding Porsches ever made.

Is there like a guide somewhere to all the naming conventions? Like, what the heck is an SC or SC turbo, etc?

Most of them don't mean anything - S, L, R, C, D, E on old 911's for example, simply differentiate different models within the same production period. The SC designation was 1st used on the 356 right at the end of its life - The S was added to the 356C to denote trim/power vs other 356C's.

Glad they fixed the ugly DRLs from the 991.1 but I don't like that additional surfacing on the front fascia. It would look better smooth.
