Love the new variation of the Fuchs (I have no idea how those guys keeps on doing it. I do prefer the GT3's interpretation of the Fuchs though). Like how the duck tail is back. The front is too busy for me. Looks like something a Japanese tuner would do.

It gets the thumbs up for all the little hints of classic Porsches. It even says "911" in the trunk. We haven't gotten that since the '04 40th Edition.

PS, that's a crazy price for a special edition 997, isn't it? You can buy 2 GT3s for that money and still have a little left.

PPS - As far as Turbos go, I'm partial to the 993 variants, but I do love them all. I'm a Porsche-aholic.

Yes, the price is just...! A GT2 is cheaper!

It's a 250 cars limited edition so It's going to be much more expensive to buy in 10 years! I think it's worth the investment.

Well considering we haven't seen any screenshots of the full game(other than the menu) that may be the reason why.

The same reason we haven't seen any videos of a Lamborghini or Bugatti, or any other new cars. I think we'd be very pleased to see RUF's in HD, but I think we won't see them till later or maybe TGS.

I don't see what the big deal is about Porsche not being in the game when RUF is suffice to cater for this. In fact, I have a sneaky suspicion that RUF's been continually included in GT to act as a proxy for Porsche. This way, they don't break any exclusivity with E.A. but can still be recognized.

Porsche is Porsche. The inclusion of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti takes away any feeling that GT still lacks that credibility amongst the big names of the road car world.

If Porsche don't want to get in on this then thats too bad. They're losing a valuable marketing opportunity to be involved with one of the biggest selling game names of all time.

Fact of the matter is Porsche is the last remaining major manufacturer left (you could make a case for Maserati). RUF is an outstanding manufacturer, but as you said, it is NOT Porsche. GT still lacks a major manufacturer in Porsche. Hopefully they will be added.

maybe they´re holding back info about ruf being in, because they are still working hard on getting porsche on board, so they can drop ruf in case they succeeded some day before release. that´s if one big issue over some others for porsche is that they only join if pd let go of ruf.

Mind telling why they would drop RUF? They don't have Ruf just to substitute Porsche so that isn't even the most logical reason. Again, Porsche has no problems with Ruf, otherwise they would not still be getting Porsche chassis.

I so hope you are right, but don´t forget that SELLING porsche chassis to RUF means lots of cash for porsche.
back in the days when pd didn´t get porsche in, maybe some guy at pd (ky?) found out about ruf and thought: hey, their cars look pretty much the same, they could do as a substitute!

I, personally, have no idea. I still can't believe we've played so long without them, though. It took to the fifth title to acquire Lamborghini. That's strange all in itself.

Exclusive means more money for Porsche & the license holder should anyone else want to acquire them.

Impossible. GTPSP will be realistic too. Kaz wouldn't acquire a Lamborghini license for just for PSP version. GT5 will have them.
