I don't really care that there are no Porsche road cars but what I do care about is the missing illustrious racing history of Porsche at Le Mans.

I reckon Lamborghini is only goin to be in GTPSP because they dont want to be in GT5 because of the realism and some of there cars could look bad, same with porsche. Crap games like asphalt get every manafacture under the sun but GT5 cant. Its all to do with how there cars will look. In the need for speeds the lamborghini murcielago is faster than the bugatti veyron. Lamborghini must say, we will only be in your game if you make us the best. Maybe... maybe not

This almost sounds like a 10 year old.

NFS is crap now, 'nuff said.

Its dumb to actually think a manufacturer would refuse to let their cars in game unless their's were the best.

As silly as his comments were, you would be surprised how dumb legalities can get...

It was a pretty ridiculous post lol. There's speculation, there's personal opinion, there's fact, and there's that post. Now, I'd never put down another, but there was just no logic in it. If GTPSP has a car, I would bet my life GT5 will sport it too. And hopefully not through DLC. Any car in GTPSP from the start should be in GT5 (FROM THE START!).

The only reason they are not in the games is because they have contractual agreements with other video game designers.

You don't make agreements with game designers but publishers. NFS has them and FM3 has them... I could be wrong but it'd be a nice surprise to announce Porsche at TGS :)

Porsche is in every second game on the market, so what BS is all that? I seriously think that Kaz lied and we'll see Porsche this time. Without them the world of circuit racing would be half sized.

I've argued in favor of this, but not just because they appear in many video games. My advice is to not expect them to be in Gran Turismo 5, but when, and if they are included, to play it cool like it was no big deal. I would never say "I told you so" if they're included, but I'll be the first to say "I told you not to count them out".

By the way, everyone who says i am a ten year old, im not. Im 32 and i actually work for EA, not with the team that is doing Shift but my freind is working on shift and he said that since NFS most wanted, when lamborghini joined, manafactures have found a way to promote their cars in the game, either making them faster then in real life or handling better. Its all about competing. Anyone who is hating, im working on game design and your not so dont ever try and give me a lecture on how the gaming industry works.

But Lamborghini was in NFS: Hot Pursuit 2.... The Murciélago and the Diablo! Oh, and NFS High Stakes. The Diablo.

It would be absolutely great if Porsche was in - just think about all the legendary cars they have made over the years. The 550 Spyder, the 917, the Ring-record-setting 956, the first 911 Turbo etc etc.

I think you're full of it.

For one, your post is exactly that of someone whose upset that you didn't get the replies from us you wanted, so you try to 1-up us by stating you're actually working for EA.

Two, you resort to the old, "I work here, you don't, so I know better". No, no you don't.

Three, Lamborghini has been with NFS since the beginning. It was the introduction of street racing that they were dropped.

And lastly, your argument of the manufacturers making their cars seem better than they are in real life holds no water when Need For Speed has had nothing but arcade physics for 95% of its life, so of course the cars are going to appear much better in-game.

I haven't seen the Panamera commercial, but judging by the making of video...There's a ton of historic Porsches in it.

I saw at least 3 cars that Jerry Seinfeld owns. I think Alois Ruf's 901 is at 00:39.

Whoever picked the cars has great taste!

How many can you recognize?

Isn't that baby blue one at :22 one of Seinfeld's? I could have sworn years ago, he was pictured with one just like it in an article about his Porsche's.

The Mexico blue 993 (the last air-cooled 911 produced) is owned by JS. Same with the 917 & the 550.

He's a big Porschephile. He will talk your ear off about Porsches. BTW, every Porsche in the show Seinfeld is owned by JS. They are everywhere in that show.

Just watched it again & spotted an America Roadster. Very rare indeed. I think it might be rarer than a 356 Speedster...

Sure you do. Did you get an adult who can spell to fill in your job application form for you?

Really? I didn't know EA was so relaxed on the Spelling, Capitalization and Puncuation of its members. Maybe berca can explain this to me in detail. Seriously, a huge load of crap. You suddenly come out of nowhere making this claim and for what, because you don't want people to give you "a lecture on how the gaming industry works". Perhaps it hasn't occured to you that your theory was way off and unreasonable and that most disagree with it?

Edit: Got beat to it, but what a BS post.

It's funny how the post he made where he said he was 7 and had never played GT is more believable than this one... :dunce:

Im 7 and have never played a Granturismo. Infact i dont even know what Granturismo is. Is it like Need for Speed or RidgeRacer?

I know, I feel more compelled to actually see truth in that post then the one he just made.

You do know that an actual real life employee of SMS who really is working on Shift is a member on here. I'm sure you can just ask him to make a post verifying you're authenticity. him and your friend must know each other surely.

Damn, and I was going to call him out first! I've noticed his awkward posts ever since I registered here on E3 '09, but I never wanted to call him out. Mostly because I'm still new here and I'm getting a feel for the other users and how they are.

It's good you guys have called him out because we don't need brainless speculation being spewed throughout these forums. Rumors spread that way. That's never a good thing. Oh, and the grammatical errors are the worst. You'd be surprised how many respect points you get by writing properly and clearly.

total off topic but :
There is some people here not from US, UK or AUS.
Some of us are French (me), Spanish, ...
So you can blame people for grammatical errors but not too much.
Ok ? :sly:

That's fine, and I've already addressed this issue with another user who I had mistaken as a native English speaker. I've learned and still am learning a foreign language, so I know the deal. Though I do admit it's great to be corrected by native speakers, this isn't the right site for that. However, as GT5Veyron is from London, I'm sure English is his native language, so he shouldn't post like he's 7. Unless he is. And lastly, it isn't just about the grammar. That's usually one part of the issue. It's the mindless speculation and lies that annoy the users here.

Wow, I took a break from the forums and anything GT5 related and came back to see this.

-5 points for fail GT5 Veyron...seriously...

And then I see a post of yours saying you're 7. I'm not even going to attempt to rationalize that.
