Possible 'confirmation' of NFS Underground 3?

Exactly, I'd be very happy if I could put a stupid sound system in the boot of a economy car and drive it in neon-lighted multi-storey parking garage rather than finding out that the game is all about putting wide body kits to Porsches and Ferraris, which I'm afraid it'll be.

Can it just have both? Because wide body Porsches and Ferraris are awesome.

Really hope the physics are better than a typical NFS game, and if there's a good roster of cars that is actually interesting, I might buy it. Just please no sound systems in the trunk and neon lights.

Yeah, I mean I see why people wouldn't like them, but then, if they didn't call it "Underground", it'd be completely fine to add them, wouldn't it?
Carbon had a well-balanced and yet saturated car list, I'd like to see something along those lines again.

At least don't make them a necessary thing - although I have to say, I'd definitely enjoy it if they were to reoccur. :D

It would be awesome if they included jumps like the double rings from MW 2012, and we could jump cars like a modified Skyline r34 off them. That would be beastly
Oh, that's another thing I wouldn't like to see, overdone jumps. I have nothing against small natural jumps, but when you can see that they put that thing there simply to make cars go massively airborne.

Haha, I'm fine with a few economy cars to start off with- I think UG2 nailed it with the 206, Accord and uh... the third one. I forgot. But if they add new tuner cars, and of course some muscle and decent SUV's, i'll be incredibly happy. Car selection is what absolutely ruined the newer NFS games imo.

I might be OK if they put the GT-R in, because that's a legitimate tuner car, but that's as high as I'd allow.
Golf, Fiesta, Focus, Civic, 208 and maybe Dart would be more than enough, as long as they won't go too far with the faster cars, for example E36 and non-race car E46 are the only BMWs I'd let in the game. I'd be extremely happy, if it had Dodge Neon for nostalgia reasons, though.

Here's Carbon.

E46 m3 and maaaybe the e90/e92 335i would be nice.
As Mercedes would go... don't think there's any real options.

Jose is rustling my jimmies with his comment.

He's on my friend's list since the early NFSW days, surprised to see his comment up there and your exact reaction to him!

I'm not convinced that whatever NFS is revealed that it'll be the savior the series needed. Underground 3 or not, this is EA and it's best to assume the worst case scenario with whatever they pump out.

EA already dug a 5 foot grave for NFS, this new one could add that extra foot.

Speedhunters is fueled with EA money. The IP has been featured in several Need for Speeds.

Also, you can buy those tyre stencils. Wonder if this is a customisation option.

True but with the RWB and rocket bunny kits, I think we're getting official body kits.

Yeah, almost as if The Crew gave EA & Ghost a wake up call on how street racing games should be done.
Customization, absolutely but the physics the game had wasn't the best. I know they took a arcade approach with The Crew but its not a masterpiece. I personally think that Rivals's physics were worse then The Crew's physics IMO because at least in The Crew its not necessary to drift through corners in order to win.

I think the drifty physics worked well for Rivals/HP3.

This is official ;) Don't ask me where i found this photo :P
Typing this while on the hype train while sitting next to Groudon and Kyogre. Should arrive at thursday tomorrow. :D:D:D
Ok lets be serious here. This is actually starting to get really interesting. I can't freaking wait to see what Ghost Games are going to bring us tomorrow with the reveal. One thing for sure is, EA can now officially take my money. Might even pre-order the game if it turns out to be what I think it will be.

Pre order and EA are two words that you must never use in the same sentence. Never a worse idea than preordering an EA game.

The latest screenshot looks like it's still using the same engine as Rivals, which is Frostbite 3. I'm similar graphics, physics, and general mechanics to be similar to Rivals.

Not necessarily true. The Run used Frostbite as well. There's still hope we don't get floaty physics!

TBH I found the drifting physics of HP3 to be exceedingly better than Rivals. On Rivals, it's so difficult to drift. It feels like drifting an 8,000 lb cinder block with wheels.
HP3 was perfect with the drifty handling, HP3 handling for the Hot Pursuit style games while use whatever they use for U3 for city based ones.
