What about your Tundra?

I really just don't see why you really care if someone wants to rebadge their car. It isn't like they are putting Type R badges on a LS or anything. The major differences between a USDM Type R and a Euro or Australian market one is the badge and some interior appointments. It isn't necessarily trying to be JDM.

I never said I did care one way or the other. I'm not sure why you thought that. He put a Honda badge on an Acura. It's a trendy thing that lots of import owners do. Honda badge on an Acura Integra/RSX, Nissan badge on an Infiniti G35/37, Soarer badge on a Lexus SC. It's all the same. It's just a look that they are going for. Maybe they aren't trying to go for a more JDM look, but 9 times out of 10 they are.

Why was imagining the sound of a Lion roaring my immediate reaction when I saw that? :dopey:

Haha, I have to admit, this thing starting up might make a Lion scared. I must record a video of the sound this car makes...

My current drift bucket.

If anyone is familiar with this car , yes it is the original JDM D1 C-west drift car imported here from Japan by/for Drift Imporium. The car was sold a few months back on Craigslist for $10k.

Me either , the car is so freaking light. In it's FWD layout, it weighed 1820 lbs. with me in it. Of course all lexan windows except windsheild, nothing unneccisary remains inside. Trunk and doors have also been de-webbed.

The car did 13.140 in the 1320, and a 1:17.32 lap on road atlanta with a lightly modded 4AGZE, and suspension work. (1.6 supercharged, 14 lbs. of boost) The new engine has 86% increase in air flow and now will be pushing 16-17 lbs. of boost, with more fuel and a colder charge.

This car is the only one in the US like it. It's an AE101 94' corolla like my white one , but it's Twincharged. This car stays in a storage building most of the year. Its the red headed step child so to say. It's the last one to ever get attention , because of it's bastard status. (wifes old accord in one of these photo's)

Here's a pic of me and a friend with the car at motorsport nationals 2009. I hand built the front bumper as well...

Wow, sure is a lot of rice in this forum. Now I want some sushi!:dopey:

I've always been a GM guy, but when I needed a car badly a couple of years ago, I saw this on a local lot and said what the heck, might as well give it a try. It's a '95 Lincoln Mark VIII, very clean car and the air suspension works! Pleasantly surprised to say the least. It was a $40,000 car 16 years ago, but I got it for a mere $2995.

My 08 Toyota FJ. Just made my last payment in December. First new car I've ever paid off. And now that it's paid off it's time to find a new car payment, thinking about a 2012 Mustang GT/CS in Grabber Blue or maybe the Candy Red Metallic.

FJ is essentially stock right now, although I did go a little crazy in the Toyota parts department right after I bought it, and installed the heavy duty front skid plate, aluminum Tundra shifter, billet aluminum door sills, front wind deflecter, and TRD catback exhaust.

As soon as the factory tires wear out I'll probably put a 3" lift and 33x12.50s on it. Would have done it already but I'm too cheap not to use up good rubber.

Till this happened one sad day, lady didn't even have a valid driver's license, insurance wouldn't fix it because of the age/fuel consumption.

It's nowhere near as good as some of the car's on here but here's mine.
1998 Audi A3 1.8T Sport iv had it for about 2 years

Nice to see a A3 8l here ;)

Had also a a3 1.8t quattro for 2 years, than hit a rock on the road, and busted the engine.
That was the dead of my A3. However i know it was rebuilt in Norway.
Now i have an S3 8l. It's somewhere here in this thread...

Nice car mate!, the FC is my favourite generation of RX7. 👍 It's a shame about the accident, did you eventually get the damage repaired?.

Sadly, no. I wanted to keep it, and fix it myself, wouldn't have been terribly expensive either, but I needed the money for school, insurance gave me well more than I put in, so I couldn't complain, if I could do it again, I would have tried to get by without the extra cash, car was amazing.

Noice FJ! Gotta love Toyota trucks!

Wow, RReed43, that's a really nice ride!!

Don't get me wrong, but if you could, could you post a picture of your Turbo with your username and GTPlanet on a piece of paper somewhere on the car? It's not you, I have no reason to doubt. But with a $140,000 car, a little bit of proof is necessary. It's not just you, we do that with everybody who posts vehicles with similar price tags. Believe me, we've had plenty of jokers who post half a million dollar Lamborghini's, and try to claim them as theirs.

Just one picture is all.👍

According to his only other post he's almost 70, so I guess it's probably not really that difficult to accumulate enough money to buy a 911 turbo when you've got that many years in the rearview mirror, so I'm going to give him a pass and believe him. :)

I've looked at a few 911s but in the price range I'm looking at (~30k) you're stuck with a 9 year old or so non-turbo. Still super nice cars and very fun to drive, but if you're looking for HP per dollar they're not that high on the totem pole.

Awesome car and nice pic, although the john deere birdfeeder is a little distracting.

Here you go.

As GTJunkie noticed I have been on the planet a long time and saved enough to treat myself to a wonderful automobile.

All my fast driving is in GT5... police, and tires make it too expensive to push this in real life.

The John Deere feeder is a distraction :sly:
