Don't want to be devil's advocate but that looks like photoshopped. Could be the direction of the sunlight though and the paper's shadow is not visible.

Tough crowd....

I took a piece of typewriter paper and printed my handle and gtplanet on it as requested. I cut the paper with scissors and taped it to the steering wheel. I shot from behind trying to get the cockpit in view along with the steering wheel.

Here's a blow up, you can see the scissor cuts on the bottom right and on the bottom left you can see that the rear cowling was blocking the full view of the paper as well as the de-fusion of the edge which is out of focus because of the lens I was using.

You could create that with Photoshop but it would be a lot more trouble than it was worth to convince a bunch of people that I own a car I don't own.... and I've already gone to a fair amount of of trouble to convince people I own a car that is sitting in my drive way...

I actually believe its real 👍. Nice car mate!

Me and a few other people familiar with Photoshop are agreeing it is a chop. The other issues are how is the sign being held there, and why is it printed instead of hand written?

Oh here is the blow up.

I really like the effect going on at the bottom of the paper...
Nice cutting skills bro 👍
Ohh and the fact that it is suspended in mid air at an angle to the wheel. Kudos for that effect.
:)

I agree it looks alot like a photoshop but it does seem like he is going to alot more effort of explaining than most people that post stuff like that in here...hmm.

Honestly, just write it by hand. That is the standard policy anyhow.

This. At first I thought it was 'shopped. But you probably looped the tape and stuck it on the wheel around the back.

So, anyway, the way to do it is with a hand-written sign to avoid this kind of situation.

Also, take a picture of it parked in two spaces at once so we know you really do own a Porsche.

I didn't shoot the whole car because it needs to be washed, that is why I shot the cockpit view. I had the original photo of the just washed car I originally posted.

Here is the piece of paper I printed my handle on. I had folded and thrown it away not expecting to use it again.

I hand signed it and placed it on the somewhat dirty bonnet.

I invite anyone to produce this effect in Photosshop.

A badge with the paper behind it? I have a Z06 badge I can lay on my table and take a picture of it with my handle if you guys want me to.

Well, there we go. So nice car and sorry for the trouble. You'd be surprised at how many people claim things that aren't true, and provide reasonable but still questionable evidence. Hell, one guy had most of the forum convinced he was in Marketing Research for Nissan, with a family and several nicer vehicles. Turns out he was a high schooler.

And breakpoint, that isn't a table. The dirt formations on it indicate a downward travel pattern from water running over the surface.

Lol i believed you and am amazed you even went to the trouble of doing this at all so mad props for that. I would have told them to stick it in the special place.

If you can afford a car like that i wouldn't really care about what people on an internet forum think thats for sure lol.

amazed how many people thought it was a chop all for a $140k car?

Hehe. Two mid-engined, low cars probably not best suited to snow. Though I suspect the SW20's front end would make an awesome shovel, if you had enough traction and didn't mind not being able to see where you were going...

Pic was taken before snowplow made things 10x worse. I've dug out the AW but the SW still has two feet of snow all around it.

Both have summer tires as well.

I might take another pic if I go out again. The SW has snow all the way up to the spoiler right now.

My MR-S is a beast in the snow, but I do put snow tires on it. BUT IS EPIC.

Small and light cars are generally very good in the snow, but I suspect even the MR-S might struggle with a few feet of the stuff...
