Our brand new Corsa 1.4 Maxx :dopey:

Don't worry, we didn't have a say in getting this car at all. Still, it's not too bad. 5 doors, 0-100 in 11.5, cruise control, air conditioning, electric windows, etc. And last but not least, free gas. :D

It's not a bad drive. Very stiff suspension, the (it's a manual) gearslots are very close to each other and stiff too, but the clutch is robust and easy to use. As long as there are no bumps the car is a great drive, and the engine revs easily up to its limiter at 6000rpm, with its peak torque at 4500rpm and good power distribution across the band. Not bad for our first real car (not counting the two weeks we had a rental ForFour prior to this one, a great little car that).

Most upsetting thing about this car: the interior looks exactly like cars did more than twenty years ago. Give me the Smart's interior anytime.

That is a pretty nice car..although I have always been more partial to VW and their subsidiaries than GM and their's. (That Corsa somehow reminds me of the seat ibiza)

My current car is a '99 Grand Prix GT. It is (amazingly) stock with heated leather, Bose stereo with 8 speakers, an amp and stearing wheel controls, power sunroof and 5-spoke aluminum rims. About the only after-market thing I have done to it was I installed an auto start. That was a long weekend. Oh yeah, and the car seat in the back.

65 Fast,
Thats a nice looking stang! I just bought a 67 tonight for my girlfriend. Its not a fastback though. We plan to fix this 67 Coupe and sell it to get a fastback next year. For now my girlfriend just wanted a car and it was about all we could afford. Needs a lot of work. Too ugly to post a pic of.

SLAYER1,
There are some nice touches to that car like the exhaust, hood, and especially the nice decision of the 383 engine! Car looks nice too.
Are those vortec aluminum heads! Awesome!!

CB, Slayer you two are from Michigan, you both should like get together and take pictures of your sweet rides side by side 👍 F-1's and F-3's are my favorites...

Nah. I was extremely close to selling the Mustang, and buying one, but the deal fell through, and I was actually glad because I like this car so much - even though it pisses me off a lot.

Hey, that's a niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice Cobra you've got there. I saw one just like that but red all you could here was the whining of the supercharger. But of course he was redlining it. This was when we were at frontier ford to get Jack Roush's autograph because my dad has a Roush and he got his visor signed.

Good choice, though it's probably huge on gas.

I can only dream of owning a Mustang Cobra, hey Josh, gimme 4 years and I'll pay you $24,000 Canadian for the Cobra.

Maybe I should post the earth shattering specs of my Daewoo: :P

Engine: 1.6l 4 cyl Chevy motor pumping out 105 HP @ 5800 RPM and 106 ft/lb torque @ 3000 RPM (for a car w/ this small of an engine, it can get up to and hold @ 70 MPH on I-95 w/ very little sweat, it's also very easy to go fast in *you'll be doing 65 in a 55 and not even notice :P * )

Weight: a little bit over 2500 lbs

Transmission: 4 speed auto w/ overdrive

0-60 time: haven't tried to test it yet; but i'm guessing around 9 sec ;)

Tires: 185/60/14 Hankook tires *tires that came from the factory*

Handling: I took a few 20 MPH corners around my house at 35 MPH and it stuck beautifully. :)
