The color is picked has gloss finish but the duplicolor spray paint has matte colors as well. I definitely know there is flat black but the other colors im not so sure about. A lot of people think i just bought all the pieces and also ask why it doesnt match the car (green outside, red interior). I just say its christmas colors for now but im probably going to convert it to match the outside.

My 18 year old brother's 1986 Mazda RX7.
Have to take new pictures now as it has (finally) got a paint job. He just got back from Dad's place - 3 hours away - a few hours ago after speding the whole weekend there painting or doing something to the car.
I'll post pics of my Skyline when i actually get it (hopefully this year).

its a 300 and yes its a 2jzge motor. WAS gonna go with the gte/getrag swap but decided it would cost too much right now ive been lookin around at other cars (mainly FD RX7's).
im probably just gonna keep the 300 and do a few updates on the body, taking the supras wheels, and pretty much just keeping things clean and have it as a daily driver.
right now its just got an sc400 MAF, eibach springs, kyb shocks, brembo drilled/slotted rotors, and since the motor swap is being thrown out i just wound up buying ss tips to get rid of the rusty ones, lol. still wish this soarer had boost
and no id rather not throw a single turbo on the current motor.

it's all relative my friend, im sure in a gt3 you could bake a cake whilst doing 160mph, whereas in a 20 year old banger you'd be terrified at 110mph, (believe me i've tried hahahaha), this car was ok at 129, i could have taken the pic myself but i have a policy with it to put both my hands on the wheel over 100mph, so it was my bro who took the pic. cause there were two other people in the car as well as a full load in the boot...

Seems like alot of you drive a X...how does it handle? What's the 0-60 mph (0-100 kmh) and 1/4 mile (400 m) times?

Stock hardware, but I flashed the ECU with Cobb Tuning's Accessport to stage 1, 91 octane (damn CA gas!) and now get 255 hp/260 torque, street legal and I can revert it back to stock at a push of a button Definitely faster, they claim 0-60 in 4.9s and 1/4 mile in 13.9s (stock is 5.4 and 14.1, respectively)

Thanks, goomba! Hmm, I should take a pic of the shift knob, that's the only visual thing I've changed. Had the car for nearly 2 years, and it's been paid off since October!

Momo Shift Knob? I have a Subaru credit card and I'm just going to rack up enough cash for a few SPT parts. Shift knob, WRX License Plate Frames, STi Key Fob and Pen to think right now.
Hey, all the better man! I love stockish looking vehicles. I think besides the shift knob and license plate frames, the only other thing I'm interested in is a wingless trunk that doesn't have this damn dealership emblem bolted on. And wheels, but mainly because the ones I want are bigger (Rota Tarmac IIs).
