Actually got 3, one's the wifes 2004 Caravan and the other would be my "only if i have to drive" 94 Altima, neither worth even taking a picture of.

Slightly modified. I fitted a Hayward & Scott downpipe, Blitz NUR Spec R exhaust, walbro fuel pump, then got an Andy Forrest
ecutek remap. This raised the boost on the VF28 from 1.1bar to 1.45bar. HP went from 280 up to 320. To keep an eye on things I fitted Defi BF gauges and a knocklink. Also fitted AP 330mm discs with Wilwood superlite racing calipers.

Nice those nur specs are flippin loud without the bung. I thought that the P1's had AP calipers but I must be wrong because I just looked it up here and it doesn't say anything about it.

I havent seen a P1 for a while, although I actually spotted a Japanese spec GC 2 door STI. At one point I used to see more P1's than actual STi's of that era.

Also I bet you he got rid of it because it was probably drinking petrol. Or maybe wanted something more civilised.

now begs the question, why is that your previous car?
family forced you to downsize to something more practical?
I just thought it was time to grow up and buy a sensible car. Plus the P1 was costing me a fortune to run, and maintain.
Race Idiot, P1's came with standard Subaru 4 pots, the official upgrade were Prodrive branded calipers (made by alcon) but they are way overpriced.

My 1980 Bronco. Just finished swapping in a 5.0L V8 and I went and did THIS!

Thats my current run-about. Not that fast, or pretty, but I put in a nice JVC CD Player and a couple extra speakers. ;)

Some photos of my car when I first got it.

and this is the 4A-LC.

I'm sorry to say, I've since knocked my front bumper askew. However, I have installed a larger muffler, and a K&N filter. I estimate I'm getting a total of 1 more horsepower. at the flywheel. I got the muffler 'cause it was cheaper than a factory unit. I got the K&N for reusability. Also hit the stock steelies with a can of Gloss Black Rust-Oleum

and don't mind the TRD plates. I did that to cover up my real ones.

man what is with the S15's. It is nearly impossible to find one where im at. Almost enough to move. Can't even find an S13 here.

S15's? I don't see any in this thread, or do you mean the two S14 bodied 240sx's on this page?

Considering the age of that car it's in really good shape.

Extremely good. Especially considering the steels they used in that era were...how do you say...subpar....

This is the most recent image of my Dad's Ex 206 Dimma rallycar. He has sold it now to someone who is going to do this years gumball rally in the car (keep an eye out for it). He built it himself, the 206 chassis and a large Cosworth engine which eventually reached 550bhp thanks to a fairly large turbine kit, He got it tested by Peugeot before he sold it and they measured a 0-60 in 3.16sec with (80% boost on the turbo), it wasn't tested with the full output from the turbo because he didn't want to break it(since he was selling it) and it was prone to breaks, but still a fairly impressive time. It was a great ride round Oulton park,

This is some pics of the original car when it had just over 330bhp

*snip* Please don't laugh...
*snip*

I dont see a reason why anyone here on GTP would laugh.
Volvo's are pretty reliable, steady, solid cars.
I havent even owned one but i know a friend of a friend who has an old 740 GL
which has done in excess of 300,000 miles and it still runs perfectly!

Plus most of them are good for 120mph! :D

My wife and I came back to California from our honeymoon in Europe (in 1997) and promptly bought a Volvo. I already owned a Porsche at the time, and we rented a BMW in Germany, but I was just amazed at how many Volvos we saw on the autobahn travelling at 200 km/h or more...

So when we got back home and saw the new (at the time) Volvo S70 T5, we just had to buy one, and took this picture soon after. Although the Porsche is featured, the Volvo is there as well:

The Volvo was my wife's daily driver for 7 years, and then became my daily driver. We still own it, it's 10 years old next month, and only about 83000 miles.

That's a sweet Porker.
Is that a promo license plate?

Thank you. It's an '82 model that I bought used in '92. The Porsche plate was on the car when I bought it, and its origin is lost to history at this point. Awesomely balanced car, almost impossible to get in trouble driving it. Very expensive to maintain though.

When Dad retired in 2003, I gave the car to him. It's mostly a garage showpiece at this point, although he occasionally turns a wrench on it I think.

Cool, my dad's got a '99 S70 T5. His is black, too. He's had a bit of trouble with his lately, giving it to the shop now and then.

Still a cool car though. 👍 Yours a manual, too?

Derrict: VERY, VERY, VERY nice. I'm jealous. :( I was pretty close to getting one of those after driving one. Keep us updated (prolly in the general car chat forum) once you get the stuff installed. I'm interested to see what it puts out!

Since it's finally getting warm out, I've started installing a few things.

Intake:
fm_intake01.jpg

stainless steel throttle pipe (stock one ballons at higher boost)
fm_tb_pipe.jpg

blow off valve:
greddy_bov01.jpg

GReddy PRofec B electronic boost controller

stuff installed:

Next up will be a 27 x 7 x 2.5" front mount intercooler, then the downpipe and catback exhaust.

You need to adjust your lights higher. I can't see anything over 20 feet or so in front of your car, and from the looks of it, the beam is hitting the ground like 4 feet in front of the car.

My new car:

2005 Astra CD AH.
Nothing too fancy but it's the newest car I have ever owned. Will be a while before JAck gets to have a drive of it.

The highlights of mums new automobile is that there is a cup holder in the glove box and the numberplate says sex backwards. :dopey:

If I adjust them higher, oncoming drivers are blinded. The beam pattern is the same as stock so there's no need to adjust them. As far as the intensity, that's well over 20 feet. The light is hitting at least 7-8 car lengths. The camera's sensor won't capture every bit of light output.

Even better, it says 123 SEX backwards!

It's like it's counting down for you!
