Thought this would be a good place to post my pics too. I just finished this earlier this year. The main gear includes a G27 and a Buttkicker. I was actually playing it on Feb 22nd when the big earthquake hit here (Christchurch, New Zealand) and thought for a split second I must have had the buttkicker turned up way too high! Then I quickly realized it was an earthquake.

Update: They're very hidden, but actually it has a series of caster wheels under it. So it's very easy to move around, and shrink or extend. Then two bolts can be placed through holes on the floor of the unit to keep the two ends locked together. There's holes in various positions so it can be adjusted for how short or tall the driver is.

It looks small because of the wide angle lens, but that's actually a Samsung 63" Plasma with it.

It slides closer together for storage, and apart for use. There's holes evenly spaced down on the floor of the unit, so that two bolts can be placed there to hold the front & back in place. No slipping forward as you press on the pedals or such.

So music won't interfear with the buttkicker, it's provided by my iPod. Music plays through a 2.1 system under the wheel, and the iPod sits into a powered dock.

Reverse mounted G27 pedals, and erm... some cables from the buttkicker amp.

@LostBoyNZ How heavy is that thing? Is it not a pain to move it around and to extend it?Would it be easier to put wheels on it with locks on them so it wouldn't roll around?

Nice thread and really cool cockpits.

Here´s mine!

The initial setup aka EVO I.
An old ladder as the chassis, a racing seat for 10€ from ebay and the good ol´ DFPro.

And here the final and actual setup aka EVO II.
Same seat, same wheel but a brandnew, aluminium chassis.

Windscreen is a 46" Samsung.
Exhaust is a 5.1 mix of JBL and Yamaha HiFi with a 800W Sub.
Engine is a 320 GB Slim witch is hidden under the bonnet of a cabinet.

Really impressive. I feel embarassed by my setup. But here it goes:

TV: 32 Inch Bravia, nothing special. (I´d loved to put GT5, but I was about to watch a movie)

Sound System: Bravia 5.1 DAVDZ570 Theatre. Awsome sound! I have both my PS2 and PS3 connected by optical cables, for true full surround sound.

Old launch PS3 40Gb (lol at the poster. I´m an anime freak too)

And last, but not least. The Recaro racing seat...

OFF TOPIC: I'm surprised that no one has commented on my random POLL yet.

/off topicness. :)

Funny and completly random poll, my friend!👍

I had a regular day. Woke up, played GT5, went to the computer and checked GTPlanet, gave my dog and my cat a bath, did some exercise, wrote another chapter in the book I write, played my old PS2 games for a while, took some picks in GT5 later, then I found this thread and posted some picks, watched a movie and went to bed. Like I said, it was a regular day, but not bad. Just the usual.

Thanks for asking:)

right now I have a PS3 and a 19" tv. I know, very small. Also I have no wheel. I'm considering moving the PS3 to my 40" Samsung 120hz tv with Polk audio 5:1 surround, and buying a steering wheel/pedals and making a seat. But my family tends to use that tv a LOT, so I wouldn't end up being able to play very often (or for long).

I'm liking the 80/20 👍
I need to take some updated pictures of my completed setup.

My newly acquired triple screen set up. I'm still in the process of getting everything set up and hope to mount the screens like Raudi showed earlier in the thread. However, having too much fun playing to think about that at the moment :)

I use the same setup :dopey:

So I am not the only one with an ironing board, that makes me happy.

Yesterday I was racing an endurance race with some friends when my girlfriend came in and wanted to iron! So I had to decide between losing about 2 minutes for changing the setup or losing the supper my girlfriend was preparing...I am still hungry....

(Sorry for my English...)

Obviously from a few months ago. I got the lift-top table a few years ago and never had a use for it until the DFGT showed up! I added a banana chair to the couch to match the height and add back support and voila :) 67" LED-DLP up front. Just 3.1 set up for sound but I'm usually playing after the wee-ones are in bed anyways.

And my day has been excellent so far. Finally got my M endorsement this morning and my motorcycles tune is finally getting dialed in(P/O let the bike sit for 8+ years) and is running pretty good with no issues on the way to work.
