Are those ~20" 4:3 screens?

Interested to see how Mark did with your cockpit.

Actually they are 40" - 16:9 screens. The one on top is a 27". The wide angle lens distorts the image a bit. View it enlarge for a better perspective.

Mark is excellent to work with, I've made several special requests and he has been very helpful.

Oh wow! Haha, I was waaaayyyyyy off! :)

I think it was more how dark the picture was and viewing it on my tablet. I didn't notice the wheel there to compare the size to.

Looks great! I see you got the GS-4 too, looks pretty nice!

I like that TC-R1/GS4 combo:tup:. +1 for Mark also. Great guy to deal with. Great rig Neo, thanks for sharing.

I was actually hoping this rig shows up here when I saw this at FTS FB, and it does , Looks great - thank you for posting it

Thanks guys! I'll be posting a bunch of pics of my rig shortly just waiting on a few more components to arrive and install.

Once all is installed I'll give a review of the TC-R1/GS4 with pics. In the meantime, here are a few more:

I'm really interested to see how FTS's formula style rig comes out.

superbike81, if that comment was for me I'm not getting FTS's formula style rig, I'm getting the rSeat Formula rig. Wouldn't mind having FTS's formula rig but as soon as I saw the rSeat rig I knew I was going to go that route.

I just recently converted my basement into my very own man cave for my gaming and entertainment needs. For my gaming chair I bought an XRocker Pedestal, which have speakers and subs in them.

My tv can rotate for a straight on view to my gaming chair. When not racing, I can simply move my wheel stand to wall.

Nice to see you got a bigger space for your sim stuff!
Your setup reminds me of my old wheel stand setup.

Not the cleanest rig but it works for me!

I need to get the monster tach's light working next!

Looks nice, love those triples. 👍
Works is most important! :)

Having those big 40" screens so close to you is awesome for immersion.

I'll never understand the stupidity behind putting screens, especially big screens like this far away from their dedicated sim cockpit.

You chose to go with big screens and you are doing it RIGHT. Great job! :)

Here are some pics of my updated driving rig, and 9.2 channel Home Theater system.

my old setup is in post #711 of this thread.

The tower of power :) Consists of an Onkyo TX-NR1009 receiver , Sony Turn Table , PS3 , Denon 5 Disc CD Player , Wii , Sony DBP-S790 Blu-ray player.
Emotiva XPA-2 Power amp on the stand on the right, 300 watts per channel all channels driven.

Entire front stage, Polk Audio Monitor 70 Left and Right mains, Polk Audio CS2 center speaker, Polk Audio OWM3 front high Left and Right , 2 Polk Audio PSW505 12" Subwoofers ,Mitsubishi WD60737 HD TV.

Rear Stage, Polk Audio Monitor 40s on 36" Sanus stands Surround speakers(another one on other side of room not pictured) Polk Audio OWM3 rear surrounds.

Last but not least the driving rig, rSeat RS GTR V2 and G27 wheel set.

Bit of a work in progress, but I needed something that can easily be taken down if needed but sturdy enough to withstand the FFB without rattling as my 'man cave' is next to my little un's bedroom.
Will be modding the pedals to be inverted and properly hard mounted and removable from the frame next week, as I have recently added the Nixim spring mod and the force is too much for the current pedal box (homemade wooden wedge with carpet gripper rods on the bottom).

Very nice job on the 80/20 build, black anodizing looks good too! 👍 👍
Like the way you integrated the monitor mounts into the rig! :dopey:
Great reference for when I eventually go there. :sly:

Great setup.

I wouldn't mind if you told us a bit more about the GS4 seat that you have there, and how much it changed your sim for you. :)

I like the black 80/20, but it's very dificult to get in my country.

Henk, until a few months ago even here in USA, black anodizing required an additional special order after selecting the tubing lengths and fastening plates.
It now appears that some of it is available for order of the shelf so-to-speak.

RacerXXX, if you have the time I would like to know what your experience was ordering the black 80/20.

here's my 8020 profile rig. the original post is on iracing forum.

Now that some serious spend money here, or wasted. How many hours you play Simm's ? Was it worth it ?

I got all the 8020 stuff including fittings for free along with all the fittings. my company threw away these two huge 8020 frames that were used for conference room projector technology used 10 to 12 yrs ago. so I saved a whole bunch of money on that and used the money on the GS4.

so I just was lucky to get these.

Hello forum, I just acquired this Hyper Stimulator, it is a 2005 model. Anyone know anything about the wheel / pedal set used? I'm trying to configure the wheel to work with F1 2012. It works now but isn't very responsive, the pedals feel great but the wheel settings need to be tweaked so it is more responsive.

Thanks!

Turn down the rotation of the wheel to 270 degrees, plus in the game select "controller override: wheel", or something along those lines.

Awesome rig. I am sure you will enjoy it. :)
