i am no pro at this game but decided to fool around with it since it is my favorite game. i have gotten a black gt-one up to 368, but that is far as i can get it. my big problem to achieving the big speed is not hitting the wall coming out of the turn. i am using supersoft tires on the front and super hard on the back and i cannot keep the car from going into the side when i exit the turn. anyone know any tuning tricks to keep the car stuck to the road?

right before i exit the turn i am at 279...but i hit the side and drop quickly to 245-255 and that is keeping me from cracking the 385 top speed so far.

i have yet to tune the minolta, sauber and pescarolo for this high speed event. anyone with an idea to keep my cars from sliding into the side i would greatly appreciate it. i will provide photo evidence should i break 385 or 400 mph.

can you achieve greater speeds on unchicaned lemans or on testcourse?

in the toyota minolta i get get to 313mph on the test course but have achieved over 320mph on lemans straight using nos. but i always spin out at the bend towards the end at that speed cause its not very stable at v.high speed
 
hi hit 600km/h on test using the audi R8 race car it was very hard to do this

downforce min on front
hi on rear
4.0 both front and rear
155mm on front 55mm on rear
damper bound 1 front and rear
damper rebound 1 front and rear
toe 0 front and rear
stableizers 1 front and rear
i don't rember the gear ratio set up due to the fact i'm going to use this car in the Curcit da la slathe 2 24H endro

I posted a 300 Mph run in the R92CP on the Test course. No insane tuning like 1 for stablizers or 155mm raised front. I used the settings I would in a real race. With NOS of course. :)
 
I did 270MPH in my 300ZX

It's easy conrm just slap a stage four turbo in it, lower the ride height all the way down for both front and rear, put everything down in the suspension n i mean all the way down, put all the weight of the car in the back, put max df rear and min df in front, its easy, oh yeah use max shot of nitrous to

The best I've done so far is:

-> Chapparel 2D racecar
-Stage 3 (or 4) Turbo kit
- Super soft racing tires
- fastest Trannie autosetting (I was doing one run and going out, no time to tinker.)
- and a lead foot.

446.45kph first run. I topped out halfway through the turn.
 
What are the settings to do a wheelie in GT4? I get the Escudo around 200-230MPH and the front kinda bounces up and down but it never lifts up. I looked through this thread and see no settings for wheelies. Thanks
 
Man i cant get my Minolta over 300 Mph :nervous: i dont know wat settings to use :dunce: help me >.< tell me all settings in which to set my Minolta to. i would appreciate it :) Some 1 gimee the SETTINGS PLEASEEEEE

Has anyone ever got under 8 seconds on the drag strip? I got 8.007 in my Escudo


The escudo is obviously the best choice for drag races. 4wd and tonnes of power with a stage 4 turbo. Anyways, try:
Qualifying Race Tyres
about 50% downforce on front and back,but this may have 2 be incresed to give mor grip (since downforce increases drag)
set the gear ratios so 1 is very long and 2nd gear comes in only jus on the powerband (high torque range).do the same for 3rd and 4th gears. This minimizes gear changing for increased acceleration.
Min ride height and level 1 stabilizers
Toe in all round
no camber
I have yet to try these, and my best 400m time is 8.088 secs. Lemme know if it works
 
and I was so proud of myself last night when i reached 480.20 kph in a black GT-one.. i want to break the 500 limit!!! help! tried every possible setting... :ouch:

OK. Played around with the settings on the Minolta for about four hours and breaking 500kph was no problem at all! My new record is....: 570kph or 354mph 👍

how do you tune your engine so it can go that fast?
:)
hours and hours of playing with settings... but now you can just go to someone's tuning site and get the perfect settings and start driving. I prefer finding out by myself though...
