practice sessions, AUGP

ya so what about my beloved scuderia? I though Ferrai's 04 car was crap. I thought bridgestone couldn't compete with michelin anymore, especially in hot temps. The new BMW was going to dominat and the new mclaren was going to slaughter. Oh ya and Honda was just playing games....

Yesterday was interesting. I personally think Ferrari went out light to stamp ultra fast times donw to end all the BS about the f2004 over the winter. Ferrari is still the team to beat and i dare say Schumi is growning on me as a driver, Rubens though i still love and there is no sexier car than a red ferrari.

Willimas...not bad not good...ho-hum...big deal.

McLaren...gotta pull their thumbs out of their asses and make a decent car, obviously that is a tall order for them recently. They have a little of the Jaguar curse on them...while Jag seems to be doing pretty good, Webber at least.

Honda....so ya...I guess Button's pace was the real thing...good for them!

Renault! I think this team will be ALOT stronger than people gave them credit for. Truili (my fav driver) looked great out there.

Sauber....ummm....what happened there, I expected more from Fisi at least.

Jordan...makes themselves more irrelevant with each passing race.
EJ needs to sell the team and retire to ireland....

Toyota...ummm, what happened there? Da Matta looked like he had never dirven a car before...panis was nowhere to be seen.

minardi....say what you want but hey out drove Jordan, other than nicky boy....

Jag...Christian "Clean"...next...Webber looked great....

-----

It is too early to ell anything, we will know more tonight after qualifying.

As it stand now though....Kimi will be driving for Ferrair next season when Schumi retires with his 7th title at the end of this season. Why stick with a car and a company that obviously can't make a decent race car...maybe McLaren needs to bring the MPD17 back.....

Button/Webber will be a great team at Williams next year...

This is going to be a great season!!!!!!

Ferrari will do very good this year.

BAR will do well, their engine is good but drivers can't compair to Ferrari, Mclaren and BMW.

The Renault is looking very strong so far

I don't know if it just me, but Da matta seem to ran off the the road to many times.. The question is, is it the tires or he just sux ass?

Maybe all Toyota boys do sux ass.

da matta is a great driver. He won champ cars right, not that my opinion of champ cars if very high...but winning a series is still a big deal. Last year Da Matta had flashes of greatness in F1...but yesterday it looked as if he had never driven a car before.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Toyota fighting for a constructors title in the next 5 years, if they got the right drivers (Ralphie boy or DC aren't them) they could even be fighting for a driver's title....

I really think that Renault will be able to give the top three a run for their money this year even more so than last year. In fact, I am running Renault's Chassis along with Alonso for Fantasy F1 this year.

Alonso is a very good driver and Renault don't sux.. I wouldn't doubt on his abilities to compete with the top dogs.. As for Honda, Button and Sato are a good stable drivers, but not good enough to match the top dogs..

Reminds me of a certain Zanardi... great and often spectacular champ car driver (indy back then, while it was still worth watching...) , but really deceiving f1 career... unlike Villeneuve or Montoya, who made their teammates look bad from their first year on...
