Enjoy your drive.
I was just asking myself what engine swap I should try for Sardegna. Now I know the answer! Might even try it on Spa, but may need to downgrade to RMs for that.

I would love a maxed out or 800pp R34 GT-R with the R92CP engine, a 700pp 240ZG with the Rampage engine, and the MkIV Supra with the Pagani Huayra engine while I’m making requests. There’s a small donation in it for you if you fill all three requests! LMAO!

Hi, new member here. I've done a lot of engine swaps since the update, Fairlady, Alfa 4c, RX7 Spirit, BMW M3, Amuse, NSX....spent nearly all my money 😄 On most of them I just swapped the engine, buy all parts and used a grandmaster praiano tune for the chassis. Of course I'm not done yet with this method, it's more a quick and dirty test. But the two cars that were instantly enjoyable in terms of speed and drivability were the BMW M3 '03 and the Supra RZ '97, especially the Supra! Give it a try it's awesome!

Wonderful tune, so fast and stable, thank you so much maestro 🤯 I mean it's near perfection, but I wonder if you have tried to tune it with the newly available weight reduction 5 option? Would it be a difference in track performance or do you have to sacrifice to much of other settings so that's not worth it? I'm also curious what you could do with the engine swapped Supra RZ '97. Feels very good already with your older chassis tune and stock gear settings 😏

Is there a setup sheet for the Bugatti VGT GR1?
Not yet , swap engine is priority for the moment. Perhaps after this huge wave of money i need for the moment.

I'm on the RX8 SWAP with 787 engine. Very good but need a very special extreme setting . Originals parameters are totally offset.

I’m using your original RX-8 tune. I’m finding no issues with it. If you’re improving it, I look forward to the updated one.

Hi Praiano when you get the time can you do a tune for the Subaru BRZ S '15 with the Suzuki V8-Suzuki-VGT-Gr.3 engine swap

Thanks

Yeah, me too. Thought it was great, except for the braking, I had to drag a foot to get it slowed down?!?

The Playstation App from the App Store will let you access screenshots after you login but you might have to have your Playstation running or else in rest mode.
OK, Thanks, I'll give this a try tomorrow. Trying to keep up to all the SWAPS!!

Tried at Sardegna 800.
The car burns front tyres; 3 pit stop for Racing Soft needed.
Won.

Suzuki Cappuccino '91 - Maxed 548PP - Intermediary / Racing Hard tires - Tokyo Rain Event - SWAP

A real Bomb but i set it to be easy and friendly. Others radicals pilots can low the front and / or add some front downforce. Up to you. It's ok like this for me.
Start with 5 laps with intermediary and 7 laps with racing hard. You can lap under 2:00 minutes.
How do you get 5 laps from inters?
When I try using inters, I only get pretty much 1.5laps.

They changed tire wear since he updated it, the tunes still fine from a performance point but tire wear is an issue. You need to pit on like lap 2 for tires now, I think you can make it to the end of the race on racing hards and a full tank from there if you're careful. I miss being able to do 5 laps on inters :(

Hello: Try soft sports tires (sport soft). Praiano configuration and add carbon shaft, and high rev, NOT ULTRA. They last the whole race for me.

I wanted to try the 92 NSX swap for myself and challenged myself to beat a trial mountain time I did in the R34 V8 swap. The NSX swap hits the same top speed on the straight but is much more unforgiving due to not enough downforce. I tuned it so it was driving nicely albeit a little slidey at times. Still 1-2 seconds off the R34 V8 (which handles beautifully). Is this not good enough for 800pp? I can post my settings if anyone wants them.

As @Black Rook said, PD really messed up the IM tire wear model in a recent update - went too far in the other direction.

I just ran this with the maestro's tune, it's amazingly fast. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...our-setups-tips-and-cars.408979/post-14023399

First two laps on IM - be careful towards the end of lap 2 as the tires are almost completely gone and if you turn too hard in the long chicane (turns 5/6) you'll spin out.

After that you can run RH for the remainder but you do have to be a little careful of fuel. I ran most of the laps full out, but on a couple I was shifting a little early (around 8000-8200 rpm). Just look at the fuel remaining with the FM in the MFD - it's 10 laps so you want to be only burning 10% per lap.

The option NO diffuser is a few more fast on straight but poor grip . Take care with rear end out of corners.
Just a medium 700PP 4:02 on Le Mans at FM 4.

Top car on Norschleife , lap around sub 7:10. Good on Tokyo rain event too.
Rear end is very alive , take care when you place the car under brake to no be late , or you'll dance. I love this behavior. It's agressive on turny track like the ring , if you like a more tight car , you can raise the front ride height.

Top number 1 600PP on Nordschleife with a 7:05 lap ( i don't count the hacked crazy Suzuki Cappuccini '91)
A bit technical to drive but still easy if you don't push it 100%

Used this for the Rampage swap. I adjusted the gearbox top speed to 375 and equally spaced the rest. I skipped the blower/intercooler and all the permanent engine upgrades. I used 200 ballast at 0, power restrictor at 93. The ECU is at 97. This gives 739 hp and a 50:50 weight distribution. At LeMans, it hits 205 mph on FM6. Gets 2.5 laps on FM6. Weak brakes.
