PRAIANO'S TUNES : SETTINGS FOR GT7

Hello: Try soft sports tires (sport soft). Praiano configuration and add carbon shaft, and high rev, NOT ULTRA. They last the whole race for me.
If you are talking Le Mans, the race rules forbid Sports tires, at least they used to. I think Blazsan uses them on his Suzuki, but I can't say for sure.

911 GT3 RS '16

I've done the swap with the RSR Engine with this suspension, LSD and aero settings, also bought the stage 5 weight reduction for it. With racing mediums it's at 799,xx pp. Good for Sardegna! Haven't found the perfect transmission settings yet. Compared to the non swap tune, lap times are nearly the same, maybe a bit faster with the original. Also the sound is a lot better 😍 and it's more agile in a good way. On the other hand the swap tune has much better tyre wear duration and only half of the fuel consumption. 1 stop with FM5 possible, or 2 stop with FM2. I feel like the stage 5 weight reduction is noticeable, feels more like that stated 4 pp difference. This tune needs a "matured to perfection" label from our grandmaster 😉

Engine SWAP 3UZ-FE-SC430 (Lexus SC430 GT500)
6:45 on Nordschleife in my hands. Very good eagerness , good reactive front wheels , stable , very fast , Lexus GT500 is a real beast , just take care under acceleration high RPM out slow corner. Excelent car overall. Perfect on Le Mans too.

1- set auto speed at the minimum 200kmh
2-set the final gear to 2.000
3- set each gear ratio beginning from the last gear to first gear in this order.

I don't know if PD fixed this car after last updates, but I found it excellent with your original tune at LeMans and even at 742pp I won in Sardegna! Just test it again Mr.P when you'll have the time. Thank you!
EDIT; Great at Tokyo too, not so fast but easy no pit stop win, great all around fuel consumption!

I’ve always found that swap/tune to be impressive, to be fair. Only downside is, it’s not a car that’s too easy on the eye 😬

I have noticed that the 4WD cars all seem to burn off the front tires at a rate exceeding the rear tires, at a ratio of two to one. I have only raced two of the 4WD swapped cars, but they both exhibit this trend. I race the Mazda3 the most because it's so damn good, but the front/rear ratio is 40:60 so that tire wear trend seems improbable, particularly with racing at Le Mans with all the straights and big power and all.

I do think the tire wear rate is "off" with the wet tires not wearing at all while it's wet and then just vaporizing when it dries. For your information.
Cheers, Pete

Just tested out the Crown Athlete swap mentioned above. I must have missed this one but since I have 70 odd SC430 engines I figured I'd try it. Definitely still works quite well, and I posted a similar time on my Watkins Glen testing ground as I have in some more recent 700PP tunes. Even found a Green Brave livery that makes it look a bit nicer.

Might I find that livery by tagging Green Brave, by any chance? I know the tagging can be (very) hit and miss tho..

If you find the time I feel like this could be a very pleasant drive at 500 or 550pp with sport hards. I love this little Alfa!

I found it under tag 'gb'. Luckily it had a widebody variant and I just left it with the custom wing since it looks a lot nicer and I didn't notice much difference in performance.

maestro, will you do something for the supra, mitsubishi gto and ferrari f40, of course with their respective engines swapped?
i'll for sure. I just to finish a couple of cars and save some CR$ on those boring only 3 races . :indiff:
I don't know why PD don't put some more events to make credits.
I only have the F40 swap for the moment. Need 1.700.000 swap + parts for the others cars.

Excellent with the swap. I needed to adjust the gearing a little bit. I skipped all the permanent power upgrades. At LeMans, it’ll get 4 laps on fuel at FM1. And hit 203 mph. Brakes could be a little better and it doesn’t like bumps.

Thanks.

A tsukuba working at Le Mans.... I'll check it when i'll have some cr$. 👌

Ferrari F40 '92 - 800PP - Racing Soft Tires - SPA / All track - Swap - 1.34
Not performant anymore on Sardenia due to consumption. I love it on SPA or any technical track full power. I race it with my Porsche GT3 RS (991) '16 ghost on several track and the pace is the same.
The car is a bit too wild on Nordschleife , at least for me , the driving line is not so steady . Perfect a better driver with a better wheel can do well there.

I found a TAXI livery that I use on mine. I figure that is the ultimate "finger" to Portilla and McEwen to be passed by a TAXI, ha ha!

I hope that at one point PD will remove this stupid rotation and make all legendary cars available all the time so I won't have to wait to buy more cars for engine swaps 🥲

For the same power / tires / weight... Ferrari Enzo is super stable , keep his line clean. La Ferrari or FXX are almost impossible to drive on Nordschleife very fast. This problem can be seen for any brands. McLaren P1...... Old cars driving like to late technologic super cars..

I've read a few years ago that PD physics are still working the same way from GT1 to GTSport or even GT7. Using a single point only , as a conection between car and track. All the physics are builded around this single point. It seems and i have the same feeling since the beginning of GT. Of course passing through a lot of better behaviors , but the same .

If GT want to reach a decent level of simulation , as Assetto corsa for example , they'll have to change everything from scratch. Just my opinion.

Above this , they can do very good car together with another horrible build. They have to bring the level of details they have on graphics (Cars & landscape) to the physics of their cars.

Just tried the updated tune... I love this car as well, truly fantastic with the updated physics.

I'm a big NSX fan, I just wish the stock and GT3 variety were as performant.

BTW, I'm also loving your Audi RS 5 tune at 800pp. Handling seems improved with recent updates even over the original which was great. Feels like some of the understeer was tamed.

This car after update shows a lot of understeer. To compense and turning it pleasant showing a good eagerness , you need to use full front and reduce rear downforce. Doing this you automatically increase the PP and HP.
Anyway the car is fantastic to drive , the wheel is precise and very responsive. I love it on Le Mans , lapping 4:02 and a 304 kmh top speed.
I've test a 800PP (almost) but the car is not ok and you can't go back with the same HP and torque for 700PP. I'll have to buy a new car.

I'm on it at 500PP , no way to reach 550PP with Sport hard.
Yesss! I saw a video a long time ago. Someone took a 60's Alfa Giulia body, made a carbon fiber chassis, and gave it around 325hp. Since that day, I've had a dream! :D Thank you for all of your wonderful work!

I think you’re right, but changing everything would be far too much 💲. If they were prepared to do that, they’d have changed or updated the menu system already. And my sense is, even the cost of that would be prohibitive.
